I was just wondering if you can get in trouble for riding a bike after having a few drinks?

If nothing else, you can get a drunk in public charge.

In Oregon you can get a DUI for riding a bike. Chances are it would be dropped to drunk in public

Yes. Its not only drunk in public but its like a DUI since you are "Driving" the bike...
I only say that cause of a spot on cops when they took a guy in for being on a lawn mower

If it's a few drinks, probably not, but if you appear drunk and disorderly, you can probably be stopped.
It's important to remember that alcohol impairs your judgement and lowers inhibitions, so you're at greater risk of accidents.
My brother was drinking one night and decided it would be fun to do dirt jumping on his bike. He broke his wrist. If he hadn't been drinking he may have approached the situation differently!

Yes here in Florida it's even illegal to ride a horse drunk!

yes you can, since bikes are considered transportation, you most likely would be fined for drunk in public and sent home walking, for you can be considered dangerous to yourself or another pedestrian just stay off the main roads and it also compares to the laws where you live. In Ontario it is but it is never enforced unless someone gets hurt.

It wouldn't be drinking and driving, but you could be arrested for public drunkness.
