I'm wondering if someone taking meds for depression would be allowed into the army.

Also I know for sure I have ADD(Attention Deficit Disorder). Would ADD prevent me from being accepted in the US Army?

No, but I seriously doubt that you have ADD and depression. Depression triggers all the same attention deficits as ADD, so there is apsolutely no way that you could be accurately diagnoses with ADD while you have depression.

If you can straighten out your life and get off the meds, I am positive that the ADD symptoms will go away. You could then be accepted into the military.

There is a place in the medical paperwork that would allow you to enter that you were mismedicated for ADD if you dont actually have it.

I don't think that the US army would accept you,I don't want to sound like I'am mean. For the army you have to be in tip top shape.

If you are now or have taken ADD medicine, you will be disqualified from enlisting.
