The President is chosen every 4 years. The next one vote is on 2008. We vote for the President on the first tuesday (after the first Monday) of November of the voting year. However, the president cannot run for more than 2 consecutive terms. In essense, Dubbya is not running in 2008 (I'm glad to announce that).
It is in all likelihood that HIlary Clinton will run so....GO HILARY!!!

As current President was elected on 2 Nov 2004 so next will be elected in Nov 2008, as election are held after 4 years.

There are elections every year for positions besides President - Senators, Congressmen, local and state positions too. You should vote every year, not just when it's for President!
