Last night I saw a small lizard crawling up the garage door as a frog looked on nearby. As I watched, the frog began to follow the lizard as if he were trying to catch it but I wondered if it could really 'eat' the lizard since I believe frogs are without teeth. Do frogs eat lizards?

AHA!
I have narrowed my decisions down to these two. I cannot decide however, they each have their pros and cons
WD PROS AND CONS- Expensive, Bigger, More Active,
BD PROS AND CONS- Cheaper, Eats more, Harder to kill (on accident not on purpose LOL!)

I and my dad are willing to building the WD a melamine cage that is 6 x 3 x 3 or so. The beardie we will build 4 x 2 x 2. Could i keep 2 beardies (will be getting from petco) in the same cage? Since, they are from the same litter? I am not sure PLEASE HELP ME!

I have also researched both intensively and i just cannot make up my mind, I know their temps, humidity, diet, caging size, and what not, I just need to choose and I can't so, AGAIN, PLEASE HELP ME!

He is 10 yrs. old and he's been asking for one for a while now. I would like to know from turtle owners out there if you think it's a good idea and what are the main things we should know about pet turtles that are important to consider. He wants to keep it in a tank in his room. I also don't know what it really requires to be healthy and if needs to have an aquairium. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I have a sulcata tortoise it's about 2 months old. The enclosure I keep it in stays between 80-90 degrees, with a warm basking side, but the turtle still seems to have the common respiratory problems (puffed up eyes, runny nose) at times. It eats a lot though and seems very lively and healthy. Another thing I recently noticed is that one side of its face looks puffy. Does anyone have any answers of suggestions about what this could be or what I should do?
Thanks,
John

Had a snake in the house yesterday! it was appromalixy 1 1/2 ft to 2 ft long. It was either black or brown. If it was black it had dark rings going all the way down its body. If it was brown then it dark rings but darker then if it was black. Its head was bigger than its body and it was in a diamond shaped! We can't idefine what it was if you now please help to find out what this is or could be.

Got a plant delivered with a little brownish colored lizard hitching a ride. My son loves it so were going to try to keep it. What do I feed it? How often do I feed it? It's only a little over an inch long. Bought a tank and heat light. How long do I leave the heat light on? Only at night? All the time? What do I put in the tank with it? What do I put in as the base? How often do I clean it out? Any information would be great. I've looked on line, but thought some of you out there could help. I know I've been in floral shops before and they say these lizards come in on the plants all the time. HELP!

Hey all. I am just curious as to what people are interested in as far as snakes go. Please list any and all snakes that interest you. Tell why. What about a certain species of snake fascinates you? It could be a Hognose Snake, a Spitting Cobra, A Reticulated Python, a pet Ball Python. Any snake at all. I have been researching venomous snakes for over 20 years and am just curious what other people think. Thanks to all in advance.

Peace

Mike

I have a Hermanns tortoise, a 2006 hatchling. Recently he's been eating less and has been quite docile, i.e not moving much at all. The other day when i went to check on him he was inside his shell and looked like he was sleeping, however he will not wake up. I'm very worried he's dead, and I don't know what to do. Can someone please help!
Thankyou.

ok well now i cant have a tortoise so i am very sad :(
i am thinking about a turtle. what breeds are their that stay relatively small and you can get them in Australia? i have seen long neck ones but they look like a snake and scare me lol murray river turtles are cute when they are little but they get really big and i dont want a massive ugly thing. also are turtles good pets? do they warm to you? i heard they bite do they? and i cant have a massive cage but its big enough for a small turtle. i heard that if you have a small cage they stay small is that cruel? and can you even take them out of the water or do you just look at them? if you can take them out then how long for and what do you do with them? is their any turtle i can get that lives mostly out of water? yer thats about it
ok any other info would be appreciated
xx

I've asked a similar question but people keep suggesting snake breeds that arent native to australia so pleeease if you answer, know what you're talking about.
I'm wondering what kind of snakes are good to keep and not to pricey. Any suggestions...?

I recently immigrated to the US. I have two red-foot-tortoises in my home country and I want to bring my pets over here. I didn't know that they would survive in here, California, but last week in a pet store, I saw some red-foot-tortoises. I guess they can adapt to this weather. Thanks for any input.

I have two garter snakes (Logan and Marvin) and Logan is about 25-50% bigger than Marvin. Should I risk putting them together? Since Logan keeps escaping all the time, and Marvin's cage has a special cover so he can't get out. I just wanted to know your opinion. Thanks!
