my fired belleid toad trided 2 eat a pebble ester day, idk, i think he spit it out. is that nautraul behavour??

i would say no because they can eat a rock and dye because it cloges the digestive system... now what u can do is get big pebles or something he cant eat.. make sure he eats a good diet. here are a few links

I am not sure, but all the info I read before we got our said not to use pebbles, for that reason. So I guess they are prone to doing that. Who knows why.
We just have large rocks in the tank.

It could be that he is hungry. Toads usually don't eat anything they aren't naturally supposed to eat unless they have nothing else to eat. However, it may just be getting the unseen algae off the rocks. I wouldn't worry about it. Just be sure it has proper food available and its tank clean.
