I have noticed in the pets section that it seems very popular in america for people to clip their birds wings so they cant fly, de-claw their cats so they cant scratch and to keep dogs in cages when they are out of the house so that they cant make a mess.
Why get a pet if you cant cope with its natural behaviour?
And why is this more acceptable in america than in the UK?

My cat, Cowrin, is amazing. He tries to spin toy tops by himself, opens locked doors, gets into places you couldn't imagine and is very loving and affectionate. He seems to "sense" when any one in the house is sick or not feeling well, and goes to comfort them. He's the best I've owned, and I've had five so far. Who is your favorite pet, and why?

I just realized that my cat has trained me. A kitten took up with us right before X-mas and right round then, started ringing the sleighbells hanging on our front doorknob when she wants to go out. Everyone in the family just started opening the door when she would hit the bells, without noticing, she had trained US. And the bells are still on the knob for her...

I aslo have wondered...does she think the sound makes the door open or that we respond to what she is doing?

Do you get annoyed and think is an idiot and find a new vet....

You are glad that is honest w you, but think he is stupid and will find another one as soon as you get out of there....

You are glad that is honest w you and would recommend him/her to others due to his/her integrity?
