My grandsons live with me and have acquired rabbits. We want to breed meat rabbits for ourselves and those in the neighborhood who have expressed an interest. We are ready to begin, but I'm not sure a buck can be bred to more than one doe at a time. Is there a recommended waiting period to breed the buck to the second doe? Thanks.

I plan on jumping and doing dressage.
And i'm kind of tall (5'7").
I know there are exceptions to every breed, but which are usually good for beginners?

BTW, yes I know how to take care of a horse. I'm just starting to take /riding/ lessons.

How much does a retarded radioactive monkey with athlets foot and 113.5 teeth cost? Also, the monkey has to have blue hair, be pretty good at the Mombo, and has a cape that plays "Best of Demon Hunter" when it flaps in the wind.

My gf has a rabbit that is kept in a closet space. The problem is that the rabbit seems to love gnawing on the paint. It does have pieces of wood to chew on but the paint must seem irresistable to the rabbit (named Jack Bauer btw).
So, 1)just how bad do you think the paint could be to the rabbit?
and 2) anyone have any creative solutions??

I have been horseback riding all my life, I have had formal training, done showing, and ride both English and Western. Why is it that anymore when a child says that they want a horse their parent just walks out and buys them one! Then the child gets thrown off the horse, and the parents try to blame everyone except themselves and the child!! We had a case of this at a show I was recently at. A friend of mine has a girl at her barn who has never ridden a horse in her life, had NO formal training, but she insisted on getting a horse so her parents went out and got her a 3 year old Arabian gelding who has very little time under saddle, of course the first time she got on him he freaked out because she slammed down into the seat too hard he took off running and bucking she fell off and broke her arm. Now the parents are trying to sue the stable! Is there anyone who understands why parents just go out and buy anything their kids want?

I feed my dog Nutro brand dry dog food. It was one of the brands (but not the kind) listed in Menu Foods recall. So was Walmart's brand and other lesser cost foods. It doesn't make sense that I'm paying a lot thinking I'm feeding my dog a higher quality product. Anybody know if there's actually a difference in pet food brand quality?

Did you know that PETA has killed over 85% of the animals they have supposedly "Saved" because it is cheaper than caring for them? Does the ends justify the means?

My 7 month old Maltese was eating the Nutro Natural Choice pouches and she started having symptoms of a kidney infection (excessive drinking & urination & straining to urinate). I took her to the vet for a blood test and her kidneys test was abnormal and they put her in the hopsital for 4 days on an IV to flush her kidneys. Thank goodness she is ok now, I am picking her up tonight but I wanted to see if anyone with the same experience was taking legal action or at least submitting the vet bill for reimbursement. I am just wondering if it is worth it or not, I am just grateful that the outcome was not fatal but at the same time think that someone should take some accountability for this and at least pay the expenses.

Hello, my ferret is about 15 weeks old and she will not eat her 8 in 1 Ultimate Crunchy Diet for Ferrets, is she to young for adult food? I am starting to feed her lunch meat, is this okay? I am feeding her turkey, ham, and bologna. I am also going to feed her an unseasoned hamburger tonight because she just wont eat her own stinkin food! Will she eat it when she is an adult which I understand is a year old. She is only 15 weeks and I just wanted to know what she can eat and what she cant! Is lunch meat okay!? Thanks!
