This is my first time owning a horse. She is 2 months pregnant and I rescued her from being slaughtered. She is out in the pasture right now, and will be staying out there in the winter. What would be some things I should do. There is no barn for her so she won't have any shelter. She has papers and is registered but I am thinking of sellin her for $1500. I need advice on (vitamins, diet, excersice, grooming), pretty much what a typical day should be when I'm out there with her. Thanks a bunch! I really love her and want her and her baby to have a healthy life. She's 12 years old.

It appears i have awoken a toad from hibernation that is living in my window well. It still freezes outside at night but the well is probably slightly warmer now. It is now moving around but does appear to dig itself underground sometimes. Will it survive till spring when i can safely release it, i dont want to just throw it outside in the cold! Any suggestions would be helpful. It is only an inch or so long i dont know what i could feed it or if it will eat?? Thank you!!

I live in an townhouse, we have no yard. We have 1 parrot who we love but I would like a pet that is more cuddly... My boyfriend is highly allergic to cats and neither of us want a dog until we have a yard for it to play in. Something with the independence of a cat but without the allergies and the potential danger to my bird. Any suggestions?

I saw this picture of the German Giant Rabbit through an e-mail from a friend and would like to find out how to get one of these rabbits. Unfortunately, it seems that the giant breed's taken the internet by storm, and whenever I search google to find a breeder's website I get news articles or urban legend sites.
Does anybody know where I could possibly find a breeder's website, preferably in the USA? Does anyone have any idea of how much they cost?

I have had several fancy rats, and think they are wonderful little critters. Biggest problem I have is their life span, a little too short.

If science could do it, and somehow make it possible for pet rats to have longer lifespans (say something equavalent to a house cat) how would you react?

I would think some people would have issues and such with the morality of doing this. But somehow I see more value in this than making it possible for Hugh Heffener to father yet another child (thank you viagra:)

On the other hand I think it would be great to have the furry critter for longer than 2 or three years.

Yogi is my 2 year old black cat. He is a brat, and attacks people and other creatures around him. Everyone always says how much of a hating cat he is, but i think differently. I love him, and i just think he's misunderstood. Then again, i'm the only one in my family that can even go near him without getting liturally killed, or torn into shreds. I still want him to live a long, peaceful life, without any trouble. People even call him names such as "El stupido", "Pea-Brain", "Stupid/Stupid Head" and much MUCH more. But i just want to know how i can tell him i think differently, and i will always love him. He's a great cat to be with, if you know how to behave with him. I love Yogi with all of my heart, and please, i would love advice to help his bad temper. My family only got him to stop spitting at people when he got angry, but i need help with the rest. sooo...please, HELP ME!

I currently have a dog and am looking to get another pet. I want something more unique than your average dog or cat, but still an animal that will bond to me closely and play and cuddle like dogs and cats do. Any suggestions?

I have ten cats and their names (and second names) are; Wooly (Woodyboy), Ginger (Chi-chi), Fatty (Mushkit), Autumn (Miotis), Cosmo (Whitey), Tawny (Schmu), Oreo (Dominoes), Jazzy (Jazabell), Boots (Mr. Boots), and Coon (coober coon). The reason they have second names is because whenever I name cats, someone or everyone else call them something else...if that makes any sense.

Yes, it's true! They are also known as woodchucks. We've had a little guy or gal named Charlie who has been living in our backyard for years. I haven't seen him or her recently because of the cold weather. Last year, I saw something very large that was obviously not a racoon, opposum, or cat up in what I think may be a tall mulberry tree? I looked closer and it was Charlie, happily munching away at the leaves or berries. The tree goes straight up so it's not like it's slanted. I'm 33 and in my whole life, I have never seen a tree climbing groundhog! I took pics. to prove to people who said I was making it up. Have you seen this yourself? It sure is a funny sight! I can't wait till spring and to see all the wildlife like the baby racoons, foxes, fawns, and Charlie that we attract in our wooded area. Also, the wonderful variety of birds that return from their long journies!!! I hate winter, it is awful! P.S., I know these aren't pets but there's no wildlife catagory!
