My horse just had her foal. This is the first foal we're had here in years and I can't remember how we trained them. This foal was born basically in the middle of a snow storm and I'm not sure what the best way to start halter breaking her is. Should I start now or wait? What's the least stressful way of training?

Okay,so me and my parents are probley going to be moving to a farm with horses and I have experence from riding lessons and we will be getting around 3-5 horses and we won't have a stable hand and I wondered what we would do on vacation because we don't want to have to hire someone to work and feed them for like 2 weeks out of the whole year because it would take too much training, because some people have different ways to handle horses. So what should we do?

If one was available and was licensed, bonded, insured and maybe even part of the BBB would you use one over a kennel? It goes without saying that quality service is a must, but what would you consider quality? Also, what price would be benificial to the customer? Cheaper than a kennel, the same or more? What I mean is, would people expect it to be cheaper, or would they feel the service is compramised at a lower rate?

Just got my chin from a previous owner. Vet says he can afford to put on weight and has fungus resulting in sparse hair on legs. Currently on medication. Any suggestions how to fatten him up? Anyone has experience with fungus on chin? How long does it take to recover and what can I do to help? Thanks.

Ok so I got a new dwarf hamster and his cage is pretty dirty...Does anyone know how often I should clean his cage?

Also, should I use soap? I was afraid it might get the hamsters sick.

Why do so many people answer the questions that are clearly just posted to antagonise or get a rise out of people? If these stupid aggitators were ignored wouldn't they get bored and stop? How many people bother to report abuse when they find inappropriate questions or ads amongst the legit questions?

I got another hamster and it died after three days. It wasnt drinking water and it was eating a lot. My X-friend said that on day two it nibbled her so she shook the hamster and threw her against the cage!!!!! I was ******* pissed and angry at her because thats just wrong!! I talked to her parents and everything and trying to take care of that situation.Anyways the next day the hamster slowly died and blood came out of her ears and eyes. Was it because she wasnt drinking? or because of the throw? Anyhowz that girl is not my friend anymore and our parents are at war. We are trying to figure out if the reason it died was because it wasnt drinking and it was eating too much, or because that ***** threw her and shaked her. IF the hamster died because that ***** shook her, wouldn't it have died right away?? Im mad and sad. I keep crying because I really luved the hamster. well i still have my other hamster whom ive had for 3 and a half years
