hi i m getting a german shepherd puppy soon and i have not a clue what to name it it is going to be a a male plez help me find names and no stupied name plez like killer or demand

I would give him a German name, whenever I get a new dog, I try to name it from its country of origin. I have a Welsh Pembrooke Corgi so I named him Bentley since he is English. I named my assitants dog for her, he is a Beagle also English so he is Austin. You can go online and search for German names, there is a ton and the meanings are listed as well. Good luck

I like to look at baby name books. They tell you origin of the name and what it means. So if you want to name your dog a German name you can see which are German. I heard once people who name there pets with people names treat there pets more like family instead of just an animal. Have fun with your new friend.

don't listen to those people who say you are not yet ready for the responsability of owning a dog. i think that it is a great learning experience for youngsters to have their own pet. i would wait until you have the puppy for a couple of days before settling on a name, after you spend some time with the little guy the right name will just come to you...congrats!!

my German Shepard's name is Ben< i reckon a dogs name shouldn't be to long because u have to call it out every time u want him (nothin longer than 3 syllables)

I hope your mommy and daddy will take care of this dog not you ,, your not ready for that kind of responsibility yet. they need good training and you cant keep them locked up all day wile you are at school or mom and dad are at work ,,,,, you have no Patience bad choice of dogs
