Mostly that depenjds on what you like and what you want the animal for. I have two cats and they are truely my friends. There is a small poodle here as well and he is also a great guy to have around. The dog goes for walks and likes to bark at other dogs. The cats also go for walks with me but do not bark at other cats.

It really comes down to what you like and some times what you need. Dogs do take more attention so if you are not home much the cat would be a better choice. If you want an animal to help protect the place then it is the dog.

If you can it would be good to have two of each.

Hard to say, we have both.Dogs are great, every time you come home from work it's as if they haven't seen you in weeks and they get all excited and make you feel good because they always want to hang out with you like a good mate whereas cats are far more independant and will only seek your attention when they need a pat or a scratch. However there is nothing more entertaining than watching two kittens comando rolling each other across your loungeroom.Yeah pretty even really.

Cats and Dogs each have their pros and cons, but in my opinion dogs are better. They are loyal companions, they are good at guarding the house, they know when not to trust someone and will growl if they don't (not always though, they may growl for another reason.) After a bit of training and if you're good to it, A dog's a great companion.

It is not a matter of what is better. Dogs are different than cats-they are more dependent of the person. Cats are more independent and don´t take crap from anyone. I guess it is what you are into, don´t you think'

Cats take less cooking and are similar to chicken to taste. However dogs are thought to be better in the winter, the meat is much richer and is claimed to have various good properties.

Dogs are much better than cats because they are: loyal, very easily trained, not finicky about food, good protection (even small dogs), have good memory, and are great companions for life.

Both make good pets however cats tend to be a little easier to care for, no need to walk them and so forth just clean the litter box a few times a week.
