My mouse just had baby..... and for the past two hours she hasnt touched it... and she hasnt had anymore.. I dont know what to do!!! Help... is this normal. She hasnt fed it or anything... I dont want her to let it die......???

its a little odd that she hasnt had anymore.

What you can do is take some of poop (yes it is gross) and rub it on the baby, just be sure that you dont actually touch the baby. I have bred mice before and this works very well. BAsically the mom may not associate the baby as, well, her baby. By rubbing the poop on the baby, the mom will then associate and start feeding.

Tell the vet your story, dont touch the baby yet. This can be normal, but a vet knows best. Good luck.

I had this happen with Gerbils. If the baby is sick or underdeveloped, the mother will ignore it. What you can do if she won't touch it is put evaporated milk or kitten milk (they sell it in Petsmart) in a bottle (also at petsmart) or on the tip of a toothpick and offer it to the baby.. if he/she doesnt drink then it probably is sick and nature will have to take its course. I know its frustrating :<

Call a Vet and ask them what to do because that happen's to humans to once they have there baby they don't wanna touch it..

nope its not normal do something take her to the vet or to the pet store theyll give you advice, somethings wrong with her.
