I'm going to be getting some sugar gliders in a few weeks and I was wandering if anyone knew how well they get along with ferrets. I have two ferrets, male and female, one is uber crazy hyper and will attack anything that moves and the other is gentle and won't even touch my hamsters(I put them in the same cage for an hour and they slept next to each other). Should I always keep my sugar gliders seperate from my crazy little ferret or will supervised play be fine. I'm not sure how fragile a sugar glider is and if the ferret did by chance playfully attack the sugar glider would it be ok?

I am fourteen years old, and I would like to become a vet. How many years do you study for that proffesion? Also, how much do they earn a year? Is it a proffesion with many drawbacks or perks? I LOVE animals, so being a vet would be a great experience. Currently, my friend and I have a business where we sell greeting cards and donate the money to animal shelters. We both want to be vets, and were wondering if it is a good idea to partener up and have a clinic together. Maybe in two different places in the U.S. What do you think? I was wondering, what are some of the easiest ways to recognize the difference between a male and female tarantula? I have a mexican redknee tarantula who's got about 1.5-2 inches of legspan. How can I tell if it's male or female? I'd like to know since there is such a drastic range in the life expectancy between the two sexes. Are there any signs, physically or behaviorally that I should look out for? I appreciate any suggestions!

I've seen a few breeders out of state, but I'm looking locally and can't find one. Texas has a bunch of bengal breeders, but I was looking for an Ocicat because the Cat Fancy Breed info was telling me that it does not have the wild tendencies of Bengals & Savanas.

the five year old kid im supposed to be taking care of for a week while his parents are on vacation,just got sprayed by a skunk when, i told him to take out the trash! he stinks bad and he says his eyes burn, but i cant take him to the hospital because they will call his parents, and i'll get fired as baby sitter! what do i do about the burning eyes, and the horrible smell! he's stinking up my house. i told him to stay out side while i figure out what to do, so i need help fast!!

After teaching my horse to rein, every time I spurr him, he won't move. Please only answer this if you know how to ride. Does this ever happen to you? He is fine when I put him to reining, but when I just ride him, I cant get him to a canter. What should I do?

I have surfed all over the internet and all I can find is how to prepare your dog for a new baby. My situation is quite the opposite. I know the American Academy of Pediatrics suggest not to introduce a dog into your home until your child is 5 years, but I don't believe that. If you are actually watching your child nothing bad should come of it. We figure it would be best to get a dog while I’m not working. So the time is now. Thanks for the feedback!

He cleans himsef so much his fur is always wet. I'm afraid he is going to get sick. He does it every ten to fifteen minutes. How can I keep him dry and only clean when nessesary? How can I get him to stop? I need help. Thanks for whatever you can come up with about my hamster Stanley.
