Cute name for dogs and rabbits in my opinion would be anything cute sounding AND names fit for humans such as Jerry, Buddy, Larry, Vivian, Jeff, Gerdy etc..I tend to go for names with a long e sound ending.

I despise it when people name their pets things like "Muffin", "Boomer", "Rascal". Your pet is not an inanimate object such as a pencil . chair, or coffee table. Can you imagine saying to your dog, "Come here, Chair".
