His eyes are watering from the stench all over him. If it's not too cold where you are at, hose him down and have him undress out side. Put him into the bathtub and start washing him down with tomoto juice. You may have to run to the market and buy several cans. You can use canned tomatoes but it takes such a lot and you can't let them clog the tub drain. Don't rub his skin very hard because the tomatoe will burn if he skin us roughed up. Finally, wash him down with soap and water and he will be fine. I've started by telling you how to help the child. Now as far as his parents, the only way they will not know about this is if you murder the child and they will not pay you for caring for him if you have to resort to that. This will be the very first thing he will tell them so you'd best tell them first. Once you are finished with panic, you will realize this is not your fault and they will probably laugh at the whole story. So call them, tell them you have handled this like an adult and their child is just fine. Next, go out and put his clothing into a bag and you make a trek to the trash can avoiding the skunk at all costs. The smell of the skunk is fierce but the rabid bite of one is worse. They are the # 2 carrier of rabies, a fatal illness in humans as well as animals, second only to bats so be very careful. You might need to call animal control for your area and have them round up the skunk and move it to a less populated area. Good Luck and God Bless

I hate to advocate lying, but…
Tomato juice really does work. We used it on our dog years ago. You will need several cans.
As for his eyes, try carefully flushing them with warm water. Either that, or have him cup warm water in his hands, and put his eyes in his palms and open them. Do this until the burning stops.
I don’t really think a visit to the hospital is required just for a skunk spray. I also don't see why his parents would be upset. You have no control over a skunk, so I think they'll understand. I would tell them, before he lets it slip and they find out you kept it from them

hydrogen peroxide, liquid dish soap (DAWN is best)and baking soda and some water. wash him several times, and be sure to flush his eyes with lots of water. Burn any clothes. WV here and have things skunked all the time. Tomato juice only works for a short time, plus gets expensive. The combination of peroxide and baking soda produces an oxygenating action while the soap breaks down the oil.
GOOD LUCK!

Rinse his eyes out good with water. Try this solution to get rid of the smell:
1 quart 3 percent hydrogen peroxide
1/4 cup baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)
1 teaspoon liquid soap or dish detergent
Mix these together and bathe ("shampoo" in or rub down) the spray victim thoroughly.
Be sure to use this mixture immediately after it is created, as it is unstable.
Rinse with tap water afterward, and repeat if necessary.

give him a tomatoe soup bath. not kidding, it gets rid of the smell amazingly well. as for the burning eyes, use Bausch and Lomb saline solution for sensative eyes. but if that's not available, use water. but in all reality, take the kid to the hospital for the eyes, explain the situation to the parents, say ur sry a few dozen times. don't be selfish and not take the kid to the hospital, u'd be stupid if you didn't. u could get arrested for child abuse.

First off I think this is a joke...but, I know there are really weirdos out there who would do stupid stuff like your decribing (like leaving him outside). The kid is going to tell the parents anyway. If it's in his eyes they can be damaged. And tomato juice gets rid of the smell. Wow!! This really scares me

Do the right thing. Only you, know what that is. The child comes first. Call the parents and tell them the truth. Let them be the deciding factor in this resolvable situation. You sound responsible! Be responsable.
