i have a 55 gallon aquariums w/ 6, 1 - 1.5", i was wondering whats the best food to feed them? when can i feed them guppys or goldfish?

Hello all. Does anyone know a good way, short of scrubbing by hand, to clean intricate plastic aquarium plants. They gather algae after several months, and make the tank look dingy, even if the water is clean. New ones really brighten up the tank, but cost $$$. I have tried everything short of the dishwasher! Thanks!

Will my bull frog and fiddle crabs be compatible?
im wondering if the frog will eat them,ive heard that they are compatible but not sure,the frog is alout bigger then the crabs.anyone ever have the two together in a tank?

So my dad has 5 gold fish in a 20 gallon tank and its starting to get dirty but i'm worried about one of the fish, its getting really fat and his scales are poking out instead of being smooth over his body, what does this mean? i don't like the look of it at all.

She is the only one in the tank and has been for quite a while. How long does it take for them to lay eggs and for the eggs to hatch.

I am wondering what kind of bottom feeder would be best for my 55gallon tank. I have in the tank already, 4 electric yellow labs, 2 blue johanni, 2 demasoni, 1 red zebra. I have a whisper 60 cartridge filter as well as a aqua clear 50 filter. I am knew at this and, I am looking for any help that can be passed on. Is there any other type of cichlid that you would add to my tank, I really like the bright coloured cichlids, or would you add more of a certain cichlid that I alredy have. When should I put a piece of romain lettuce into my tank to feed them vegtables, at night before bed or in the morning.

HELP me, my neon fish is missing. I can't find it anywhere. I had three neon fish, one beta, one balloon fish, one angel fish. could one of these fish eat my neon fish??? I looked everywhere in the tank, filter, under the rocks, but no trace of it.. what happened???

A male betta I bought yesterday is keeping his top fin very close to his body, or just letting it hang. (he's not acting sick in any other way, he's doing well). His fins are very very large; larger than any of the other bettas I saw, and the water in the container he was kept in at the store didn't look deep enough for his large fins. Do you think he'll eventually spread out/up and enjoy the roominess of the 3-gal I have him in now, or has he been stunted forever by the tiny tub?
Do you guys who have also bought bettas from petstores find that your bettas act like they're still in cramped conditions, or do they get over it? I feel like his top fin is a little broken or atrophied arm that he can't extend. =( He looks so sad!

I have the executive desk set. There is a hole on the top of the lid, which a sea monkey figure goes on top of. Can I keep both on? Don't they need air?

My tank has been up and running with 3 other fish in it for about 6 weeks now. Ammonia is fine. Ph is around, well normally 8.0, I just checked it now and it up around 8. Food is the same pellets and flake. The dead fish before showed no signs of illness. I have a 30 gallon tank. A 25% water change was done about 2 weeks ago. I do have a water wall of air in the back of the tank. When introducing the 3 fish into the tank I floating it the water for 1hr. Then a small amount of my water was added to the bag. Then a little more. Total of 2hr of bag floating be dumping water into my tank. Undergravel and regular filter are running.

Hope I answer most of your questions. Any more suggestions?
