I've heard: It's actually possible to put bettas in together but you need a HUGE tank (over a hundred gallons) and lots and lots of plants and caves. And even then, they might fight over territory.

It's just not worth it. Easier to say, they can only be together briefly during spawning.

They often make nice community fish with others so there's no need to try to keep them with each other. If you want to keep multiple bettas, you need multiple tanks.

Well, we had a few in a tank last year, and since we had more females than males, they were able to hold him off most of the time. But they eventually killed each other. Actually, a couple of them made babies, ate them, THEN killed each other. Bettas are meant to be alone unless you want to seriously breed them.

depends if it's there mateing season or not, which is like posibly 1 week a year....but most of the time they'll kill each other

don't do that one of them will die because of instinct they will fight
