She is the only one in the tank and has been for quite a while. How long does it take for them to lay eggs and for the eggs to hatch.
AAAGGGGGG! I'm so confused. Thanks for all the answers though.

Yes, if the crayfish is always hiding and has its tail tucked under it then its probly about to drop a litter. If you have any fish in the tank they should eat most of the litter. They will carry both the eggs and young. I've seen this before

/She probably layed eggs and they are not fertile. She won't lay her eggs. she will keep them under her tail until she fins=ds a mate. she will discard them if she doesnt. And once they hatch they will be victoms to other fish in the aquariam. so seperate them and feed them regular fish food.

turtles can mate and lay eggs many years later may be the same with crayfish

same thing happened to me..mine hatched & had oodles of them. they were fun to watch grow ..but once they got about an inch long, I got a local pet store to take them. not sure how long it took for them to hatch, seems like it was just a few weeks

first of all-it's a CRAWFISH!-
source-I'm a cajun in Louisiana
yes those are eggs-she is in spawn-she needs a male to fetilize-(I think) -I know a hell of alot more about cookin' them.

She could've mated with a male before she was in captivity.
