I just noticed about 50 tadpoles swimming around in a small pond in my backyard. What do they eat?

I just started this tank about 3 weeks ago now. I just moved so I started all over, fresh clean everything. Treated the water and waited the alotted time by the box to bring the fish in. I have had the water test 2 times now and both times they tell me my water is at perfect levels but the water itself is so green you can hardly see thru it. I just don't know what to do. If it was the levels I could fix that. And the funny thing is it's the water, everything is is not "covered" w/ algea. I so don't want to rip this tank down and start again. But I just can't figure it out. Before I moved I kept this taknk for 2 years without any problems. Please help if you can, By the way it's a 55 gallon tank.

The tank had 15 fish and 4 sucker fish (3 of which were a different species to the one which has survived - its dark and browny) I am now down to 9 goldfish (1 death I can account for) and 1 sucker fish. A friend has told me sucker fish change their habits when they are older and start eating fish... another friend says this is rubbish. I did not buy this tank, but agreed to look after them as they didn't have anywhere to live - 2 years on I still have it (but less fish!)

55 gallon tank
she is a sunset platy
levels in the tank are fine
the secound one to get it
dont have another tank
she is in the breader tank that floats in the fish tank
the last one had babys as soon as we took it out of the tank (put it in a cup)
all scales are standing but no bulging eyes as far as I can see
WHAT SHOULD I DO???? I love my fishys!!!
the story (it has more info and details and stuff)
this is out secound fish that had it but sadly we dont have another tank! we took it out and put it in a cup (not smart I know) but about 10 or 15 min. later she had babys!her fins wher still up, and she had a weird white spot on her side, so idk what it was but I think that it was dropsy and maybe somthing else. my mom put her in a net so that she was in the water but could not get out. all the babys died and after like 3 hours I got her to flush it. now another one has standing scales but no bolging eyes. she is in a breader tank but it shares water with the tank, WHAT TO DO?

I am looking for doseages for commonly used meds like antiparasitics and antibiotics, also would like to know which are safe for inverts. I have a 90g tank, and work in a vet hospital, so would like to be able to treat my own fish if problems arise, but cant find any info on actual doses.

It is a regular goldfish (not the "fancy" kind lol) completely orange/gold and rather big for a goldfish. It was supposed to be a starter fish for my 2.5 gal. tank. It is the only one that survived and I have decided to keep just "it" in the tank for now . . . I also have 2 cats - Smokey & Dinah.

The answer I like best will get the points and I will use the name : )

I got a young plecos and 2 goldfish. By reading information online on how to care for fish, I got the impression that they will probably die soon.

I'm planning on cleaning the tank about once or twice a week. I'm also planning on getting some algea pellets for my plecos since the tank is so small. It does have a filtration system, not the best one in my opinion but I did only buy it for the kids.

so how can I keep my fish living for longer than 2 weeks?

when cleaning a betta fish bowl, instructions say to use hot water. Which is better? Hot tap water or boiled water?

You know Dasher, and Dancer, and

Prancer, and Vixen,

Comet, and Cupid, and

Donner and Blitzen

But do you recall

The most famous reindeer of all

Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer

had a very shiny nose

and if you ever saw it

you would even say it glows.

All of the other reindeer

used to laugh and call him names

They never let poor Rudolph

play in any reindeer games.

Then one foggy Christmas eve

Santa came to say:

"Rudolph with your nose so bright,

won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"

Then all the reindeer loved him

as they shouted out with glee,

Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer,

you'll go down in history!

I have a young, about 6 months-1 year old male betta fish. Ever since my old one died, I've been very worried for this one's health. Any advice?

I'm bored with the fish in my pond. They don't hold any challenge or excitement.I've been thinking of getting a Great White shark in there instead.I've read up on them and apparently they eat mostly seals and other fish,I can get these from my local supermarket quite cheaply.Do you think it's time I put a 33 foot maneater in the pond to sort the frogs out?
