How do i clean my breeding net with baby fish in it?

i separated my baby platys from the larger tank and put them in a breeder net. i feed them crushed up flake food. some of it is left over and is at the bottom of the net. everytime i try to scoop up the left overs, the baby fish will get caught in the net. what should i do?

Buy some air line tubing and siphon it out carefully, Collect it in a large jar so you have a chance to see if any fry got vacuumed out as well before you throw it out.
