I kinda want a fish that doesnt require a heater and can live with other fish thats not a goldfish

I have two 4-5 inch and two 1-2 inch fantail goldfish. I want to add some other type of animal into my tank. I have owned an African Dwarf Frog before but I am not sure I want another because they aren't very active. Does anyone know of a small turtle, frog, maybe a unique type of fish, or other creature that could be added into my tank
that would be no bigger than about 6 inches??

I used to be able to put my hand in and they would swim around it and kinda bump into it but now they are just to aggressive

I have a fantail goldfish(a little one)in a one gallon bowl i just cleaned its tank purified it with chor out and its swimming to the rim trying to get air????As i herd thats not a good thing, i love this fish and would like it to live for a while but cant afford a tank or anything bigger than a gallon tank!!!!!!!!!Help!

they were with koi, mirror carp, green tench and gold fish, when i removed the dead orfe they all had holes at the same place on their body, which is about two thrids along the side of the body, could they have died and other fish start to eat them? the pond is 8ft x 4ft x 3ft and is covered with a net, there is lilys and oxygen plants in the pond, it is cleand with a hoselock filteration system, hope this helps you to answer this .

Since the weather has been so hot lately my 20 gallon fish tank water is getting really hot. The person at the petco said an air pump would cool it down.So I got it ,but it hasn't gotten any cooler. Ive had it for like a week.Its gone to the point where its gotten to like 86 degrees ,and Ive had to use ice cubes to cool it down ,but it doesnt help that much.I have fish in my fish tank that can only have like a 79 degree water temperature. What can I do! any Ideas?

i name my fish...(as i do ALL MY PETS), but a freind of mine laughted at that! i dont find that funny...fish are pets too!
my 2yr old Beta is named Brutus Maximus Betamus
*not sure of type of fish*, he is 2yrs old also, and is white with black tiger stripes..about 4 inches long. his name is Killer, because he attacks the food like crazy at feeding time *hilarious*
and then a 2 yr old algea eater i named Al Gene Eaton ( catch that?) ha ha.

so anyone else name their fish??

i had a brand new pleco about 1.5 inches last night when i woke up this morning he was gone. i searched every hiding place even the gravel and i couldnt find him. is it possible he died and my 2 spotted corys ate him. there is also 2 bala sharks and 2 molys in the tank they were all getting along last night ok and the pleco was very active. there were no bones or anything left in the gravel or filter.

I suspect it it something to do with water quality but the test results that are carried out are only marginally up. It is a tropical aquaium with live plants, rocks, aerator stone and two spray bars from a external filter.
