I had Thai crabs that ate shrimp pellets, each ate about 2 per day. Buy the Omega One brand-they seemed to leave the least mess. You can buy them at Petsmart.

Do you mean ones like those you can buy at some pet stores? Most of them (the semi-aquatic ones that need both a gravel surfuce and a section of water) can eat freeze-dried foods such as bloodworms or brine shrimp. I would look up the specific type that you have though, as there are many types.

If you're talking about the STD/STI type of "crabs" then I'm not sure what to tell you.

crabs (underwater kind) are scavangers and eat materials they find like old food, fish poo, etc They will also sometimes eat anything they can catch as it swims by. Land crabs (hermit crabs) eat a specialized crab food that can be picked up at almost any petstore.
