You have to separate the eggs not only from other fish, but also from their parents. The 'rents will guard them for about 1-2 days then eat them if you don't separate them.

First thing you need to worry about is what you will do with 200-400 angels. If you can't sell or rehome that many angels, don't worry about the eggs.

You will need 1 gallon of water for every 2 angels to get them to a sellable size. If you can't come up with 100-200 gallons of tank space don't worry about the eggs.

Entire books have been written about breeding angels. If you can provide the tankspace & have a place to sell them check out http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=96104

You can remove the eggs without damaging them, i do it all the time. If you put a female in a tank by herself, the eggs will never get fertilized by the male. You can leave a breeding pair in a community tank, provided you pull the spawn before any fish eat it.

you also need to worry about the angels themselves. they eat their own eggs as quickly as the other fish do. the only way to prevent the eggs from being eaten is by putting the female in her own tank BEFORE she releases the eggs. there's no way to remove the eggs from the tank without damaging them, and you probably don't want to take all the fish out of the aquarium. so this time, you're not gonna have any left. but better luck next time!

generally if you want fry, you always put breeders of any fish in a breeding tank. so i am guessing that you dont want fry that bad.

angels like all cichlids will protect their eggs. They will usually fight off other fish, i know my 4 pairs of breeder angels will defend one half of the tank from other fish.
