i name my fish...(as i do ALL MY PETS), but a freind of mine laughted at that! i dont find that funny...fish are pets too!
my 2yr old Beta is named Brutus Maximus Betamus
*not sure of type of fish*, he is 2yrs old also, and is white with black tiger stripes..about 4 inches long. his name is Killer, because he attacks the food like crazy at feeding time *hilarious*
and then a 2 yr old algea eater i named Al Gene Eaton ( catch that?) ha ha.
so anyone else name their fish??

i name every animal i own no matter what it is. it could be a bug for all i care. how would you feel if you lived your life with no name......

I do.
My two silver dollars are Pancake and Benedetto.
I had a cory with whirling disease (who sadly passed on two weeks ago) named Whirley.
My African dwarf frogs are Shaft, Fifi, and Freddina.
My betta is Homer Heywood Jablome, or Homer J. for short.
My zebra danios are Wilbur, Bubba, and Cletus.
And my guppies are Booboo, Sky, and Midnight.
I haven't named the other four cories, the seven neons, or the five new guppy babies.
Only Homer and the frogs really respond to their names. Homer sometimes even goes to his "room" (which is really his castle) when I catch him picking on the silver dollars and I yell at him to go to his room...

Yes. I used to keep tetras and I named every one (yes, I'm crazy).
My boyfriend and I name our bettas. His was named Alpha, but he passed away and was replaced with Clyde. I have a dainty boy named Epsilon and a big ol' guy named Bubba.

Yep I named my old fish Bullseye because it had a giant red dot on the front of its face, it died a while ago though :/

i name my fish.once i had an albino bata fish and named him snowie and my friend kind of laughed at me but i didnt care i just went on with my life. so dont worry a bout it.
