I am looking for doseages for commonly used meds like antiparasitics and antibiotics, also would like to know which are safe for inverts. I have a 90g tank, and work in a vet hospital, so would like to be able to treat my own fish if problems arise, but cant find any info on actual doses.

I am looking for doses for prescription meds like erythromycin, enrofloxancin etc. Looking for a vet or tech who has experience in this area.

Treating your tank is never a good idea, it will tend to destroy your bacterial cycle and kill your live rock and invertebrates. Put the fish in a bowl of fresh water until it starts to show signs of distress, then put it back in your tank. Saltwater problems generally don't survive in freshwater. Other then that, neon Gobi's, wrasses and cleaner shrimp do a great job of keeping your tank healthy.

Very few medications will go with inverts. If you have a fish that needs treatment you are best to isolate them in a hospital tank and treat them there. Otherwise a lot of reefers don't even treat fish - just let the disease ride out the course - losing a fish is a lot less loss than losing a lot of very expensive invertebrates from medications. In some cases cleaner shrimp will remove some parasites like ich. And quaranteen any new arrivals before putting them in a main tank. Prevention is the best treatment.

Copper is not safe for inverts. All the other medications you are asking about, have specific directions on the packaging. Salt water medicines are not very expensive. If trying to use meds without packaging, it may be too strong, the wrong kind, or out of date. Go to a pet store that sells products for reef tanks. Generally, well maintained tanks do not require frequent medicating. Marine ick should be the most common parasite encountered. Be careful selecting fish at pet shops. Ask to see the fish eat and notice if there are cleaner shrimp in the tank, if the cleaner shrimp are all over the fish, there are parasites on them.

counting on your funds and area higher is more effective i'd say min 55g as there trouble-free and under no circumstances to severe priced. when you get the tank and stand you'll want sand i love deep sand mattress 5 inches or more effective yet a minimum of two-3 inches salt mixture in case your going coral reef you do not want on the spot ocean it truly is for fish yet another aspect I disagree with swimmer dude is a hydrometer been utilising them for 25yrs no difficulty why spend the more effective $. reef crystal, kent marine, coralife are all sturdy salt mixes i'm getting even with the certainty that is on sale, check out health care professional foster and smith for all you kit they have large prices and for lights aquatraders have large 3 watt led furniture for the fee cant be beat leds are the perfect no severe priced bulbs to modify and a lot less watts and warmth and as bright as halides each and every person is replacing over to them. I improve each and every thing with them which include stoney and clams. I been utilising over move packing bins for over 10yrs and have not had a flood i do not use the pre filter out. yet being new i'd choose a dangle on decrease back like aquaclear in case your tank is round a 55g. ro water is a ought to for round 100 and fifty bucks you'll get a 50gpd on ebay, also do not comprehend those different skimmers that the dude suggested yet aqua c remora sucks in case your doing a sump i recommend aquac ev protein skimmer there the perfect you'll stumble on used ones on ebay. The conscientious marine is an fantastically good e book quite counseled. do not forget the stay rock between the biggest in a reef and the most severe priced. you may start with some and upload as you go.
