Well, it isn't really a "teacup" but it is much smaller than usual. The breeder said that he would be under 2 feet tall and only run about 40 lbs. The puppy is mostly fawn but he has a huge white patch on his chest! It looks soooooo cute!

Even though his size and colors are so rare, the breeder is willing to sell him to me for only $1400! What do you think? I couldn't find pictures of puppies like him anywhere! Should I buy him?

I was visiting a family member with my dog and this family also has a dog. At the moment of my visit there was a friend of ours present at that house. This friend is a trainer.

When I go there, my dog always tries to dominate the other dog and it leads to growling and grabbing etc. They don't bite each other but It's noisy and annoying.

This trainer asked me if she could handle the situation, I said yes. She asked her husband to back away about 20 feet with the other dog. She laid my dog on the ground and held him there by the neck in a submissive position. He fought back as hard as he could, she did not hurt him but she held him till he gave out a big sigh and gave up fighting her back. Then she tells me: When your dog comes here he has to understand he's the submissive one.

What do you think of this?

I want to start professional training with my dog after the Holidays and of course she will expect me to go to her. I always wondered about how she handled the situation that day.

Hey everybody!
Okay, I have always been in love with German Shepherds.
In a few years, when I have my own place, I'm going to get one.
What do you like for a name, boy or girl?

(I always liked names with a sharp sound to them, like Jack.)

My gf has a black lab that she says has a sensitive stomach. She buys really, really pricey food that is purchased from the vet. She wigs out anytime the dog eats anything human (the dog is tall enough so that sometimes he snatches food from places he shouldn't).

I've had dogs my whole life (though not black labs) and have never experienced a "senstive stomach" dog. I don't know if she's being paranoid and is over-babying this dog (she babies him in other ways too), or if the breed is truly known for stomach problems. When the dog eats human food, he seems fine to me but she "sees" problems afterwards that I don't.

What is it: Is she over stressing about the gastro-intestinal needs of the dog? Or am I not sensitive enough about the dogs sensitive stomach?

We have been feeding her rice, chicken liver and carrots for the last few months, but it has become quite difficult to keep up. She is about 10 months and off and on she get diarreha like she did when she was on dog food that upset her tummie and I'm not sure why she's having these random episodes of diarreha. She is the runt of the litter. She has been scratching all her hair off lately and biting her skin. She has become quite a hassle and I don;t think I can take it anymore. I want to start feeding her regular dog food to aleviate a little of the stress and hopefully make her happy and healthy. please suggest something that is not super expensive...that is the reason I was home cooking for her initially. serios answers please

My husky has found some rubber ball in my yard, and then before I could stop him he has eaten it, he chewed it and he totally ate the whole ball. The ball he found is a bit smaller than a tennis ball, and now since that he can't or won't eat anything, just drinks water.I was total crazy when he was eating that ball, he puts anything he finds in his mouths.I have a big yard and children's from school are passing by it, and they are throwing stuffs in my yard- I guess he found that ball that way.
So I need help, husky hasn't eaten anything for a whole week, he looks like he is loosing weight, and he just lies around and won't play or run anymore, and he stretches him self a lots.
I am far away from a vet and I don't know how could I get him there since I don't have a car, and he obviously can't walk for a long time. Please if anyone knows how to help my Husky let me know what should I do.Happy Holidays.

My pup is a worker and loves to bring me stuff to help around the house and yard (sticks, pine cones, little pieces of trash). It's very cute--not to mention potentially very helpful, but she brings them to me and I am sometimes working and do not want to touch the stuff. She also occasionally brings in poo and dead birds to "clean up" the yard, so I would rather not handle that.

I just got a 7-9 wk old chocolate lab. She constantly scratches and bites on herself. She has big dandruff flakes and even cries like she is in pain when she does this scratching. There are almost no fleas on her which is what I thought was the cause of her constant scratching. She also has a knot on her stomach which looks like a tumor growing under her belly and looks painful and strange. I am aware of the problem of inbreeding in the lab mixes which is a result of their poplularity so I am wondering if my new puppy is really unhealthy or just needs a little TLC.

My tender heart for animals found me taking a puppy from a Lady yesterday at Walmart tha she was giving away. I felt so sorry for the puppies. They are 6 weeks ald and no shots, have not been wormed and flea infested. Of course first thing Monday the pup will go to the vet but I need to know what to do about the fleas before then. Every flea shampoo you find says for puppies over 12 weeks of age. Does anyone know what will happen if I use this shampoo for this young of a puppy?

It looks like a German Shepherd except it is solid Orange. It is not a Belgian Malinois or Belgian Shepherd and it is not really a German Shepherd. I have been told it is a rare breed from India (very few breeders in the U.S.A.) I Spoke to someone in Hawaii he stated he sells the pups for twentyfive thousand U.S. dollars. I need to find a female cheaper than this to be a companion and breed with the male I already own.

Thanks for the help!
