its not so much the seeing you eat, but the seeing the food.
Its an involuantary reflex on the dogs part, its the same with humans. When we see or smell food we begin to salivate to prepare the mouth and body for ingestion and digestion of the food.
The dog ses the food and his body thinks that he will be recieving some, so it gets ready for eating.

Because he wants what your eating! They drool with excitement in hopes you'll give them someting off of your dish!
It equal to our mouth watering when we see or smell something really good to eat!

The dog is drooling because it wants your food. Honestly if you are so young that you don't know that then you really shouldn't be using a computer unsupervised.

He wants to eat your food. His brain has prepared him to eat by triggering increased production of saliva, which will aid in digestion if you should let him have some food.

Poor thing, his taste buds have been aroused, perhaps by the smell of the food. He is asking to share some of your yummy food. If you have not fed him, please give him some. If you have fed him, wait till you finish your meal and give him some.
If you do not want him to stare at you, do not eat in front of him.
