Don't you hate that question! "Help, my dog is having puppies!"? I sure do. What are some other over-asked questions that just drive you crazy and make you wish certain people don't own an animal?

I'm adopting a baby boy puggle (mix between pug and beagle) at the beginning of January. I have not owned a dog since I was 5 years old and was wondering if you could give me a list of items I need to purchase before he arrives home. my 4 year old bichon has hip displacia, he seems to be in a lot of pain when its cold! he is on 2 types of medication from the vet. on mild days he can run and jump around like a mad hatter

I know your gonna say spay and neuter your dog, but my i have a lot of space here and a a lot of time for them. pls I live in the Philippines, where there are only little dogs.

So my Spitz first mated on September 26 2007.

I checked yesterday, and there was already milk coming out from her nipple.

her belly is quite big and she is already sure to be pregnant.

I ALREADY RESEARCHED about Whelping and all those stuff, but I just want to ask your opinion when do u think she will give BIRTH?

We have 2 small dogs and 1 cat. If we got a bullmastiff as a puppy would it love our other animals? I'm worried that if we got one even as a puppy that it would oneday turn on our other animals and attack them. Does anyone have a bullstiff that gets along well with other animals?

i have a beautiful 6month old labrador, i live on my own and he sleeps in my bed with me.....yes that does cause some problems with dog hair and the like but to honest i dont mind.....i have a boyfriend who stays about 3 nights a week, he has banned the dog from the bedroom, he says its filth...anyway, last night the dog was put in the kitchen for the night, i have a dog flap so he can go in the garden whenever he wants, but obviously he is on his own. he cryed and cryed and cryed and cryed and barked and cryed and barked all night long....he was still up at 5o'c crying, when i got up the kitchen was pretty wrecked, he had everything he could reach off the side. i feel heartbroken about him being on his own...will he get used to it? do you think its ok to have a dog in the bedroom? what about a compromise, dog in the room but not on the bed? any advice much appreciated.

We have a Chihuahua and our dog has been having problems with diarrhea for the past four days and now recently it has been bleeding every time it uses the restroom. She is very weak and she eats very little...actually she hasn't eaten in the past few days so...Is there anything I can do or can someone please tell me what's going on?

but i want one that will stay little.
(a yorkiepoo would be perfect size!)
im not going to be home during the day time.
but im home basically all night, every night.

Just a month ago, my dog was extremely active, barking at the neighbors who would come by, running from our front living room to the backyard, chasing lizards, getting excited whenever the word WALK was said, and hopping up for food when it was thrown to her.

Now, in just a month's time she just sleeps all day, and hardly eats. I see her sometimes just lying there with her eyes open as if she feels inside of her this pain that is growing. She hops on one leg, because her right leg has grown cancer. I just wish I could be a God, so that I would heal what has seemingly been neglected.

She looks at me with the most caring eyes, and when I lie down next to her, she looks away, and when I pet her, she lays her head down by my head and starts licking my face as if I am the one in pain. I wish I could be half as tough right now as she used to be. Now she is so fragile, and it's hard for me to take without memories interrupting. She was just a baby days ago it seems...

How would you feel?

It has to be under 300$ Like 150$ Or so. It can't be a very heavy shedder. Send me websites that are in Illinois and give me some ideas. Thanks guys. i think my dog is in love with me out of everyone i the house he wants to sleep with me sit on my lap when i watch tv he waits my the door for hours into i get home he even refuses to let me go to the bathroom alone! he is a Pomorrien (spelled wrong) amd 10 months old is this normal how can i make him more independent

well i for everyone that has been waiting my dog is gonna be fine she was poisoned don't know how though we can't figure it out we think a neighbor has been poisoning them. we have had a dog die last year of the same sickness so thats why we think someone is poisoning our dogs :( how could someone do that... i just don't know.....anyways my baby she is still at the hospital they gave me the bill and i couldn't afford it :( they told me i couldn't take her until i paid and everyday its getting higher and higher.. we are really going through a bad rough patch right now i dunno what i am going to do.. i asked if we could make payments and they said nooo the whole thing or no dog.. i'm crushed no family is willing to help me.... thank you all for your concern and prayers i am so appreciated of it

I have a 10 year old Golden Retriever and he has always had ear trouble, but over the past couple weeks he's been having this consistant drainage of blackish-brown type earwax-y fluid coming from his ear, we end up cleaning his ear at least twice a day instead of the once a week routine, he's scheduled for a vet appointment in a couple weeks but should i be more concerened?

Everybody thinks that just because a perosn keeps their dog outside that they are a bad person. For people who keep large dogs it is extremely hard to keep them inside. My dog has a dog lot outside and I love him to death. His side are covered so wind wont blow in, sloped roof for rain run off, a doggie heating pad in his house, and all his favorite toys. He never stays in his lot except at night. He is always out in the yard playing with a member of the family, or whenever everyone is inside he is inside with us until it is bed time. Isnt it better to show a lot of attention to a dog you keep outside than to keep a dog inside but pay no attention to it? If i was a dog i would wrather have a lonely night than be layin on a coach lonely all day.

Ive never had a dog before but how much does a pure bread golden retriever cost thats healthy medium size and is pretty young but not a baby and it doesn't bark alot and is nice with people

and i want to get it from a petshop is there anything wrong with a petshop cause thats the only place where i can get it and is there anything i should know
