Don't you hate that question! "Help, my dog is having puppies!"? I sure do. What are some other over-asked questions that just drive you crazy and make you wish certain people don't own an animal?

I'm saying people should have been smart enough to get their dog spayed! And if their dog is having puppies they shouldn't be on the computer asking random people they dont know, they should call a vet!

I HATE that one, but even worse is "My dog is really sick, but don't tell me to take it to the vet cause I don't have the money! I need a home remedy NOW!"
Those kind of people deserve to be shot on the spot. They don't have the money to take their suffering dog to the vet but notice that their internet bill was paid in plenty of time.

Make sure she has plenty of water to drink and just keep an eye on her. It is possible for a dog to have one hours or even a day or two later, my standard poodle had her litter on easter sunday morning last year and then the following monday night she had one moore. We didnt even know at the time that that was possible. She was fine and so was the baby- per my vet. just encourage the puppies to nurse, if there are anymore up there that will help her contract. Green is totally normal. she needs to eat the placenta so let her, also she will eat their poo as long as she is nursing....this is also very normal blood is normal , but once you get her area cleaned, you shouldnt see any blood after that except maybe VERY little from the umnbilical cord. make sure mommy's nose is cool in a few hours, make sure after her next few urinations...which will be a little bloody that she isnt bleeding, and make sure she isnt discharging out her vagina. make sure all the puppies nurse within24 hours This is the best advice I can give you.....also call your vet if you have any doubts. They will answer any questions you have. good luck and congradulations remember, this is natural for her she knows what to do. If this is your first litter and/or her first litter, taking her into the vet may not be a bad idea, unless you have someone expierenced who knows what to do.

Amen!

I get the same kind of situations at my work, unfortunately. Dog owners need to be more responsible and need to do more research in my opinion. Between veterinarians and the Internet there is no excuse for a last minute freak out. As far as I am concerned these owners have several weeks to learn as much as they can about the pregnancy, whelping, puppies, etc. If they do not like what they read then they need to have their female spayed.

Enjoy your day :)

OMG it makes me want to rip all the hair out of my head! I use to work in a shelter, I use to pin down animals to be euthinized, the very same animals that stupid uninformed people are breeding! Like come on people do your reasearch before you even buy the animals!!!!!!

Same to you, plus: "What should I name my puppy?" "How to breed my two dogs?" and "My dog is acting such and such, is this normal?". How long does it take them to go to the vet instead of asking random people on the internet?
