I want to call her Liver Tan but could be Liver Pepper.
Nose and pads are chocolate.
Body is chocolate.
Head is slightly ligthter chocolate
Chest and front legs are lighter chocolate
Area below tail is white

never heard of schnauzer those colors. are u sure its not somethin else? it would help if a picture was included! i almost want to say take her to the vet and get him to determand the breed and color.

umm.. I've had schnauzers my whole life.. and most of those colors are not acceptable in them..

they are Salt and Pepper, Black, or Silver


From the AKC site:
Color
The recognized colors are salt and pepper, black and silver and solid black. All colors have uniform skin pigmentation, i.e. no white or pink skin patches shall appear anywhere on the dog.

I have seen a wheaten colored one.. but it is not accepted as legit.. (and for him to get that color they had to be mixed with another terrier breed)..

these are my current 2.. the one at the top is a salt and pepper (his sire was a black his mother was s/p so he's a bit dark)
the one at the bottom is a silver.. (the "white" around the head is not white it's just really light silver as he's pretty old)_
