Some people said dogs are colorblinds..is ir true?

No, dogs are NOT colorblind. They have cones and rods just like us humans in their eyes. They do see colors, just not as vividly as we do. The colors they see are more diluted.

It depends on the breed and their Genetics.

Cats and Dogs have more complicated Genetics,.. much more things pop up and combinations are posible.

As a result, many dogs have Colorblindness. This DOES NOT MEAN they see in Black & White. Colorblindness is usually the lack of one color in your vision. My mom had a boyfriend with the most common one for humans, he could not tell blue from green and green from blue.

There have been cases where it was to the point of Greyscale but this is extremely rare ( that translates to black and white) and I believe there had been an illness/damage that attributed to it.

It depends on what you define as colorblind the main color that dogs see is a form of dark and light but it has been said that they do see a form of colors, but not the same bright spectrum of colors that we can see.

NO IT ISN'T .....people do say this but it is not at all true.....they see almost as good as we do the only difference is that the colours through a dogs eyes are a bit duller than us ......

I think they only see in black and white, and of course shades of these two colors.

they see in shades of grey or if its birght like LIME green then they can see a little shad of green or thet colour
