My female cat just gave birth to four beautiful kittens a week ago and I just got my male dog back from a family member and they get along great, especially for never seeing each other or being around another animal before!!!! I am just wondering if it is safe for them to be around each other??

The theme is cowboys and cowgirls and lastly the dog is a german breed so the name could be german. ( I know a lot of wants)! please no overly used name like champ or buddy stuff like that.

him. Will he diefinatley get put down? Becasue i dont think it was his fault, i am 15 and he was on my paper round with me and usually all the little children come up to me and smooth him and stuff, he can get a little protective of me and the rest of my family but he has never biten or went to bite anyone else before yesterday. I dont understand it, one minute he was fine, a little kid was smoothing hiim and the next my friend of 13 came up to use, bent down and said hello to him and he jumped on her and bit his face. Will he be put down even though it was the first time hes ever done that? I will take complete responsibility for it, ill do anything to make sure he doesnt coz hes the most amazing dog in the whole world, and ill admit he doesnt like strangers and does growl and bark at them but he is never vicous towards anyone, i dont know what was the matter with him but i would really like to know if they can take him away and kill him please give me some good answers. Thanks

I have a 1 year old siberian husky that won't eat. I'm looking for serious responses only. I have consulted a veterinarian and she has no solutions as to how to get him to eat. We've been having this problem since February of this year. In the past month, I have switched his food often to begin the search for a food that he will eat, but in the past while we had this problem I did not switch his food. I have tried mixing gravies in with the kibble, mixing soft food in with the kibble and he refuses to eat any of it. I have tried a raw diet, he absolutely loved it for 4 days and then just stopped eating. He does eat canned food, but I do not give it to him regularly as he will just eat it for 4 days and decide he's done with it. I'm at a loss for getting him to eat. I do not give him table scraps, his food and only his food. He searches high and low for anything to eat but his food and never finds anything. Finally after a couple of days he will eat some kibble, but not much.

Okay so after picking up a foster fom the vet, she peed in my car.
It was like lake placid!!!
I took her home and took my car to the car wash and shampooed the seat several times. I even went and bought a new air freshener.
The next day it was very hot outside and the heat brought the smell out.
Now its cooler, but the smell is still there!!!!
I dont know how to get rid of it, I have shampooed, drowned it with freebreeze, and added air freshener.
any ideas without getting new seats!? :)

My nine month old dominican chihuahua wont stop biting his private area!! Ive checked him multiple times for fleas and he doesnt have a single one. I gave him a bath two days ago and it didnt seem to help. He just sits around and bites his area. Ive tried making loud noises when he does it to try and detour him from doing it (such as clapping, etc), but it doesnt help. He just ignores me and continues biting away. Why is he doing this?? Hes been to the vet recently, got his shots and was deemed healthy. Someone mentioned using a hot spot spray on his private region, but i'm worried about that possibly giving him an infection or something.. I'm not sure, ive never used that type of product so i'm just being cautious. Can anyone help me out here? I'd appreciate it! Thanks so much!

We didnt have the chance to get either fixed because it has only been 1 week. Anyways you can guess what happened. She is only 8 months old. Is there something that can be done to stop the pregnancy? a morning after pill?

I was searching thru craigs list last night and came across a boxer/rottie puppy. 7 weeks old may I just add. I emailed this woman and asked how much she was selling her for. She emailed me back asking $350. WHAT???? Are you serious, its a mutt? I can get a purebred boxer by paying a little more then that price. Anyone else outraged on the prices of these dogs now days. How is it they are getting money for MUTTS and stupid people paying for them? Remember when mutts were free to a good home? Remember when kittens were free? Unreal!!!!

So my family and I have been wanting a golden retriever for a while now, and last month we started searching for breeders. We finaly contacted one and we went to visit his home yesterday afternoon.. everything seemed fine, until we felt like he was a little too pushy in trying to sell us his puppy? Ive read that good breeders wont do this. Here are some things that we thought might be a concern:

There are 11 females and 5 males.
He uses his own males to father the pups (I thought most of the breeders looked for a male from another owner to breed with their female.. or no?)
He refused to give us references (names numbers) of other owners unless we put a $500.00 deposit down on one of the pups
There was no gaurantee of health. Meaning once I bought the pup, Im on my own even if it gets hip dysplacia or some other medical problem. I thought a good breeder would allow you have the puppy for a while and if something went wrong, you could return it?

....may get angry with me for feeding these mouthless creatures with human food .I love animals and usually my pets are strayed or abandoned ones. The last addition is a kitten from the Veg.Market.
I'm from Sri Lanka (which is a war torn country with ssoaring C.O.L.,and we live in Ma's pension.

I'm forced to write all these ,because some get angry when I ask about feeding pets with human food.

Dogs are the best animals on earth they are adaptable, there faithful they love you more than they love themselves they would die for you, there insecure, they stand about for what they believe in, they get into fights for things they care about. So do you lie dogs.

This is a long story cut short. My boss's five pound chihuahua/dachshund cross got it's jaw fractured by their other dog. It's a closed fracture towards the back of the mouth. The vet said stabilize it with a soft muzzle until 7 am. The question is: How frequently do I need to be feeding him? He can't chew so I have to mush his food and I'm not sure how often I should offer him the mush.

(this is temporary until the clinic is open. I would be rushing him to the vet NOW, however I don't have a vehicle and the nearest open one is 2 1/2 hours away.)
