2 days ago, I noticed my dog's eyes were blood shoot. They're bright red and her eyes are croossed just going the other way. She still is as active as she always is and is fine mentally. She lives outside with my horses in a really big area. Should I take her to the vet or is it just an at home cure?

She is only 6 weeks old and i got her from the breeder a day ago she was on a combo of performatrin and iams puppy formulas but since ive had her she has had constipation and vomiting the breeder is on vacay so i can't call her. the vet said that she was allergic to her shots and has a respiratory tract infection. and she is on antibiotics but she cries everytime she eats so i know she is having indegstion from it please help im scared senseless thank-you.

When we went to sleep last night, she must have delivered just a head of a puppy from maybe a previous pregnancy??
We are pretty sure there are more on the way. We don't have much money to take her into the vet... any suggestions??

right now i give her authority puppy food i give her a bowl in the morning a bowl in the afternoon and for dinner i give her half a can of wet food and some puppy replacer milk. i want to feed her extra cause she is kinda thin from her old home. anyways is that feeding her enough and the right stuff

i know the smell is coming from his behind,but I dont know why. I clean him back there and it helps for a while,but the smell seems to bother him too. He will cleans himself,then the floor where he was at. Could his anal gland be swollen and maybe leaking or something. I know its gross,but Im kinda worried and the vet is closed until monday

I'm trying to find a puppy breed that is cute,small,rounded snout not pointed,and dosn't shed to much. (preferably not a "bad dog" like a pitpull or rotwieller). I'd appreciate pictures but a name of the breed will do just fine. Thankyou for your suggestions.

Okay im sick of people telling me not to buy a dog from a pet store, i know about the puppy mills. but some places allows u to meet with the breeders and stuff, so don't start about the puppy mills and stuff, im a worker at a local shelter and i know all about them, i can't adopt a big dog cuz i don't have the room, and most dogs that do come into the sheltters are mostly big, and they would end up right back in there cuz i can't take care of them, so a small dog is perfect,
petfinder is pretty cool cut its hard finding a dog and like trying to get it specially when u want to know the personality of the dog, and the overall physical being,
so i would greatly be thank ful.
if anyone knows a place in longisland new york, or flushing queens that is a trustable place.

I have a mini Dachshund and I hope this is not serious but it is gross but here it goes..my dog sometimes has this kinda metallic smelling liquid that just randomly squirts out of his bottom. I thought it was his anal glands so I had them popped about 2 weeks ago and he hadn't done it since so I thought it was okay. Just a few moments ago it happened again! It's not alot but it's gross and smelly. What is this? Can anyone help me? I don't want him to be really sick or anything and die :( Can someone point me in the right direction?

Today I brought home a 5 week old puppie(shitzu mix). Suddenly my shitzu will not come around me, when I call her she just looks at me and turns away. She always jumps up in my lap, but now she not only will not jump up in my lap when I pick her up she pushes away from me and jumps back down to the floor. What do I do?
