why dont people ban labs, jack russels, german shepards, bull dogs, akitas, mastiffs, or any other dogs who attack people WAYYYY more then pitbulls? pitbulls are involved in 0-10% of bites each year. while labs all by itself are involed in over 45% some if not most thats even fatal. Some people are sick....Next they're going to make slavery and **** legal....Who knows. Some boy got bite by a dog which was MISTAKEN for a pitbull which was a Corso. Banning wouldn't stop dog fightin, attacks, or even pitbulls, because it just couldnt happen. plain & simple.
People should take a look at this country on some serious ****...look at the person who runs the country....we should illealize his @ss.

I have a miniature australian shepherd who is 7 months old. When he has an accident and I scold him he yelps like I'm beating him. I've only spanked him once (it was even worse then so I have never done it again). However, just shaming him doesn't seem to make any progress. Any answers would be great!

My dogs Jack and Rusty for some reason like hiding under my bed. I let them sleep on top of my bed but for some reason they like under. They can hang out there for hours. It's not a big deal, but I'm just curious why they like hanging there. BTW- They are both yorkies if that means anything.

He is old. He used to be active. He has to be hand fed. He chokes sometimes. He can't hold his baldder or bowels. Sometimes he cries out for an hour at a time. He doesn't seem to remember me. He seems really depressed just laying there. He can't walk any more. I have to clean him now, he cannot. He is getting pressure sores from laying so much. I move him as oftn as I can. He seems so miserable and unconsolable. He has been this way for a year now.

Any good advice?

Thanks in advance.

My dog is a lab, and she is a little over weight. I take her for walks almost weekly now, but every time it looks like she's loosing weight, she gets into the garbage, or eats some large amount of human food. Don't get me wrong, we try to keep this stuff away from her, like when we go somewhere and leave her at home we put the garbage away, and make sure evey piece of food is out of sight. But some times she gets in the garbage outside, or finds some way to get into food, and yes, she is already eating diet dog food. What can I do to help her relize that she has to start being good???

The mowers left a large pile of grease in our yard and our dog rolled in it and is covered with grease. We've gotten a lot of the grease out with dish soap and some scissors, but he's still got a lot of grease on his face. His hair is of medium length and is very, very dense and I'd really like to get him clean and save him and ourselves from the oil stench.

$1700 seems to be alittle much for something so small and sickly. Not to include their doctors visits and cute accessories from target.

My 2-yr old yorkie came home aftera stay in the kennel. They told me he was "not feeling well yesterday and had a little loose stool". When we got home, he was running into things and he is obviously not himself. His left eye is slightly dilated...a little reactive to light, but not closing up to tiny normal like the other one is. My older dog is on .2 solox for thyroid. I wonder if this could be happening if Bosco accidentally got Kuzco's thyroid dose? Could this happen? i cannot talk to my vet until tomorrow morning. Is it possible he is just delirious and over-tired from too much playing at the kennel for 5 days, when he usually sleeps most of the day? he is so asleep right now he's practically unconsious. He will not let me put him in his kennel, where he normally goes in by himself and sleeps, with the door open. He scratches and barks (which he NEVER does), probably because he was in a pen part of the time at the kennel. He will drink water, but he is not eating right now.

I gave my dog Panacur once a day for 3 consecutive days, repeated the procedure after 3 weeks again. The vet told me that I would be able to see the hookworms in his feces after couple of days, however I did not see anything, so I was wondering if anyone has had similar experience? is it possible that the hookworms are gone even though I didn't see them when I was picking up after my dog?
