I'm getting a puppy theres a black or and a brown one with spots i'm having trouble choosing a name .?

Is this your first puppy? Puppies when you first get them, WHINE. One word of advice. DO NOT give in. The more you give in the more spoiled they will be.

I currently have a puppy right now. He's a basset hound.
He's chews on everything he sees! So, I would say make sure everything that he could possibly choke on, keep out of his way.

Also, are there older more aggressive dogs any where around?
If so, make sure he stays FAR away while the older dogs are eating. i know people who had and older dog and got a young puppy. Well the older dog had a small food aggression problem when other dogs are around. Well the little dog got near the big dog and almost was chewed up. Luckily people were around to help.

Also puppies are small and don't understand. We had a puppy whom, just like every other puppy, liked to get under peoples feet. Well one day my father was going down to feed him and my dad didnt notice the puppy was under his foot and my dad broke the puppy's foot. I mean it was all on accident. No one saw it coming. It was just puppy being a puppy. Trying to hide under people's feet. Well, the point of this is; watch where you step. you never know where he could be.

If you put the word "names" in google you'll get volumes of them. The puppy that comes right over to a stranger is the most aggressive in the litter, the most high energy in the litter, and the most active in the litter. This puppy should go to a professional trainer, if he's not properly trained he'll be the first in the garbage, the first over the fence, the first to go after the mailman, and the first to get run over.

Wow, like the other people answered, I would definitely base your decision on which pup is the friendliest, most responsive to you, especially since you are on the fence based upon looks alone. I'd call the black spotted one Domino, and the brown one Snickers or Simon.

The bacl spots are called "blackheads". Go to a drugstore and find a product that gets rid of blackheads. They should be gone soon if you use it everyday.
