My dog is about a year and a half. I have been trimming her nails myself since she was 3 months old. Lately she has been very aggressive towards it. I can't even grab her paws without her trying to bite me. I have never cut them too short, but it seems to hurt her. Has anyone else gone through this, and do you have any suggestions, so she will allow me to trim her nails? They are getting bad. I already tried taking her somewhere else, and they refused to trim them because she started to get too aggressive.

Put ecollar on him after being neutered. He was shaking and whining for hours wouldnt eat or drink all day since i put it on. I took it off and hes back to normal. Can i leave it off while hes sleeping or is that a bad idea?

i was walking down the street and i saw an injured dog.i picked him up and brought him home, when i pugt him down he i was covered in blood from the dog. so i called animal controal and And told them and they said we'll be right there. i waited 45 min for them when they gotr there they said we have to put him to sleep.
that got me mad so i said so you take 45 min when your wife is hurt too and then i punched him in the face while the other guy was killing the dog. then i hit him to and made them leave. i then buried the dog in my back yard.

Would you call a dog that weighed around 25 lbs small? Or maybe smallish medium?

Thanks.

Especially when people attend to play with her. She is a very friendly puppy. Like instead of licking you, she bites. What can I do?

We moved into a new home 6 months ago. At first, our 1 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Oliver, barked at everybody that walked by our house. He sits up in the window & watches, & now that he's gotten to know people, he barks occasionally, except for one neighbor.

When this older man walks by the house, Oliver barks constantly, growls, and his hair stands up. When I step outside the house and this man walks by, Oliver runs to the fence barking and growling. Oliver will even be sleeping in the living room, and it's almost like he can sense this man outside, because he'll run to the window barking. THIS IS THE ONLY PERSON HE DOES THIS TOO!! Strangers come to the door and he doesn't act like this.

My husband wants to get a shock collar to curb him of this barking, but my gut says he's trying to tell me something. Is Oliver sensing something bad, or is it that he just doesn't like him?

There is a stray dog running around and somehow it bit and ripped some of my dog's flesh off.We took him to the vet and and it was so deep that they could not stitch him.So here we are trying to get Stumpy(I named him when I was three) into the tub to wash the wound. But the freaking dog won't get in. Please help.

I have three Rottweilers, 2 F, 1 M. My first two rottys are tall & big, not fat but solid. My male is 7yrs old, 145 lbs & 30" H from toe to shoulder. My older F is 6yrs old, 125 lbs & 28" H from toe to shoulder. My young F is just 1 yr old, 73 lbs but also 28" H from toe to shoulder. She eats like a horse & we excersize her the same as the other two in hopes she'll develope body muscle mass as the other two have but she is VERY lean/thin. She doesn't have worms, that we see but I'm concerned that she will stay scrawny. Any thoughts or ideas?

I take over the counter Glucosamaine Sulfate 1000mg. for my rebuilt joints

Someone told me I could also give it to my poor old arthritic dog(14 yr.old Pitbull) and it would help her feel better. I have given her the Canine formula before and it seemed to help, but it is so COSTLY..

Would what I take help her and most of all IS IT SAFE for her.???

I was curious about this process and wondering if it can be done part time. If it is free to get the certification etc... I have a Miniature Schnauzer that would be perfect for it I think. He absolutely loves kids... very well behaved (has no temper) Always wants to be loved on. He does lots of cute tricks...sings...talks when asked to or talked to... Or he just talks when he wants attention. (When I say talk.. he does not bark...he just makes cute weird noises... kind of like singing or talking :) If this is something I could volunteer to do part time with him I would be extremely interested in doing so. Would love to hear from people that know anything about the system and the way it works... Who to get in contact with.

Blessings

He is 2 years old and this came out of sudden- during our 2h absense at home he always pulls his bed out of his corner and places it in the meiddle of the corridor. And its not fun- its really annoying to fall over it few steps after you open the door with 25 food bags.
Any ideas??- Pls dont tell me "to change his bed location"- its been the same for 2, 5 years!!!!
