right and she is getting sick now and her temp droped to 99.9 does that mean she is in labor.she has had 3 set's of babies but she has never been as big as she is now this one is totaly diffrent please only answer if u can answer my question thank's for ur time

I would just watch her closely. It is not uncommon for dogs to get sick sometimes when pregnant. Unless she starts showing signs that she is actually in labor, I doubt if she will be having them this soon. You could take her in tomorrow for a check up just to make sure everything is going okay.

first off, tell the person whe answered that a chihuahua is a dog and dogs do not have kittens. Second, TAKE THE DOG TO A VET ASAP! The dog may be very sick or could be going into early labor. That would be bad. I had an early with my dog, needless to say the puppuies did not survive due to being under developed and complications during the birth. Please try you best to save the pups!

If your positive that is the only time she could have been bred, then you need to get her to a vet, because the pups are coming to early. Her drop in temp may not mean shes in labor, but it could mean she has another illness going on. Have you had an ultasound to see how many pups are coming? You didnt say how old she is, but did you have a vet confirm the pregnancy? I would get to a vet to make sure this isnt a pyometra, or miscarriage, or hypocalcemia, or any number of problems chihuahua get while pregnant.

this litter is just more puppies than she had before.she probably isn't used to such a big belly.would you feel sick if u carried around a big belly twice ur weight?

Take her to the vet ASAP. You might lose the mommie and the kittens. Its better to play it safe and have her checked out.
