He is 2 years old and this came out of sudden- during our 2h absense at home he always pulls his bed out of his corner and places it in the meiddle of the corridor. And its not fun- its really annoying to fall over it few steps after you open the door with 25 food bags.
Any ideas??- Pls dont tell me "to change his bed location"- its been the same for 2, 5 years!!!!

My dog loves to do this, too - his bed is in his crate, and every time I get home from work and let him out, he pulls the bed out and takes it to the living room where I'm watching TV.

Look at why your dog is doing it. Is he playing with the bed, and that's just where it ends up? Is he trying to move the bed to a place that's closer to you and the family? Is he trying to tell you the bed is dirty and he'd like it cleaned, or that it's all flat and not comfy anymore and he needs a new one (or a good fluff)? Is he trying to get your attention by placing it in a high-traffic area? Once you know the reason he's doing it (or can at least guess - being human we certainly aren't experts at reading a dog's mind), you can begin working on the issue. It might be as simple as washing it or fluffing it out, or watching him and telling him "leave it!" when he picks it up, or taking it away altogether.

Can you put something very heavy on the edge or in it (where it won't make the bed uncomfortable for him to use) to weigh it down and make it tougher to drag around?

Or, you could try spraying something like bitter apple on the edges where he grabs it with his mouth to pull it - the taste should discourage him from putting it in his mouth to pull it around.

It sounds like he's bored and looking for ways to entertain himself while you're gone. He needs some toys to keep him occupied - toys that make him work and think and keep him busy. Don't forget to rotate his toys so they'll seem new to him and don't become too routine. A Buster food cube, or a Kong toy with a bit of peanut butter inside that he'll have to work to get out are good stay-busy toys. Some toys even have a chip that you can record your own voice on, to keep dogs happy while you're gone.

maybe get him a heavier bed. maybe your dog has a rare talent for rearranging furniture or he doesnt like his bed there anymore...my dogs rarely sleep in one spot all the time.
