the first time he's bitten me was when he fought two pittbulls and somehow won. the pittbulls were in our yard He is very muscular bigger than any dobe that i have ever seen. I think he got this big b/c i would always ride my dirtbike in our one acre yard and he would chase me until he dropped to the floor and couldnt run anymore .So when the pittbulls attcked him and we pulled them apart i tried pushing him inside and he knew he did something wrong and knew my dad was going to punish him for it so when i tried to give him a little push to go inside he attacked me when he attacked me he bit me many times but not as hard as he could but it still made me bleed. The second time he bit me it was when my friends had come over and i wanted him to go inside so i pushed him inside and he bit me hard really hard probably to the point were he could bite any harder. The third time he bit me he was wearing a shirt and when i pet him he attacked. what should i do, how can i change his behavior.

Hi there, My dog is getting old and he seems to sleep much more then he did in his day. Also he seems to be drinking much more water then before and he pees a lot more as a result. Also he has lost a good amount of weight in the last few months. I believe these are al lot of the syntomes of Diabetes. Maybe its just what dogs do when they get old.. I dunno
What should I do?
Is there meds for dogs with Diabetes?
Should I change his diet? He currently has tinned food and gets some snacks off us from time to time.
Thanks

I was wondering if anyone has had experience of a dog biting right through tyres and making marks. Is it possible a dogs tooth could penetrate a car tyre? Does anyone know of this happening before?

we have had our puppy for about a week now and we are having difficulties trying to toilet train her. she has the puppy pads inside, have put "housebreaker" on it. we put her there regularly but she will always do her business somewhere else. i would ideally like her to only go toilet outside, so i take her out every hour or so and after she has eaten but the moment we come back inside she will pee/poo.

any help would be great

My Cousins best friend who was 19 at the time had two dogs and the rescue helicopter said for her to leave the dogs and she stood her ground and they let her and her dogs on ......because if that ever go in the news that they abandoned a 19 year old that would look so bad ........People should always protect the helpless and personally i think that the selfish people who left their pets should suffer the same punishment.......If it were me i would never leave with out my pet NEVER ....how could you sleep at night
Why even get a pet if you are not going to at least guarantee it safety and good health..................My wife and I helped to rescue 11 dogs of Katrina and find loving homes for the innocent helpless traumatized dogs

He is so cute that I couldn't tell the kids no he can't stay. I will post of pic of him, and maybe someone will have an idea what this stray is made of. his ears lay forward and it looks like he has a mask drawn around his eyes. He's brown, black, and white and probably about 3 or 4 months old. He is very calm and well behaved. He just started barking yesterday.

I have a seven year old dachshund that still isn't house trained. He has been good about it off and on but now he is really bad about it. If he goes potty outside, we praise him and give him a treat, but he still craps in the house at least 5 times a week. Any good house training routines.

Well, I've already read some similar questions posted concerning this question but my dogs are not of a similar breed as the ones mentioned in other questions. First of all my dogs are pure breeds, English Bulldogs in fact. Secondly, they are of age: the female turned 2 yrs old in September and the male turned 1 last month. (I've spoken with professional breeders and they said that it was better for the female to be older than the male.) Anyway, I only want them to mate once because I know I'm not a professional and I don't plan to become one. I just want one small litter for myself and my family and then we will spay and neuter the dogs. However, the male is having trouble putting his "part" in her. He's doing the motion and trying real hard, and she's allowing him to, but he just can't seem to get it in. We're considering just having her artificially inseminated but should we just let nature take it's course? English Bulldogs are known for having trouble mating, any advice?
