Get a crate not much bigger than the dog. You want the dog to be able to turn around in it but not be able to go to one end to do it's business and the other to sleep. Keep the dog in the crate when you are sleeping, not home or unable to watch the dog. Take the dog out to do her business as soon as you take it out of the crate, 15 minutes after eating and after playing. If you are watching the dog and see her start to circle and sniff like she has to go take her outside. If she has an accident and you do not witness it unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it. Do not yell at your dog, do not hit her, do not stick her nose in her mistakes. Make corrections firm but not yelling.

Its called house train. You have to take her out after you feed, play with, when she wakes from a nap and every half hour to an hour. If you see her smelling the ground a lot take her out then too. When you take her outside put her where you want her to go and tell her "GO POTTY" and repeat until she goes. After she goes say good girl and give her some kind of treat. If she does go inside and you see her do it say bad girl and take her outside right away and say go potty here. Don't yell at her or she may hide and go to the bathroom where you can't see it. If you don't see her go inside and you find it later dont punish her, she wont remember what she did. Clean up any mess with a pet cleaner so she cant smell urine and might go their again.

I'm now not announcing you must kennel instruct your puppy, however you do must avoid her from having access to 'challenge' places. Many puppies will see downstairs as now not rather 'facet of the residence' so this is not an exotic crisis. Before you get too a ways long gone even though, I'd ensure there is not some thing clinical happening (to give an explanation for the surprising difference in behaviour). Try bringing a urine pattern for your vet (or deliver your puppy, and feature them gather a pattern). ddx: Behavioural Urinary Tract Injection Crystals/Stones Renal problems If now not spayed then pyometra and so on. and so on, and so on.

Like the others said crate training works. I chose to use positive reinforcement. Take out regularly and often. Praise, reward when she goes outside If she goes in the house,be angry at the spot NOT THE DOG. Firmly pick up the mess. Sounds silly, but speak firmly to the mess, like YUK, This is such a mess to clean up. There are doggie diapers for small dogs. Use them too. They really don't like to be close to their own messes. You didn't say where you are from, but in the North East it is getting really cold, get her a sweater or coat, she may be too cold to go outside...would you???

Yes, buy a crate and a crate training book and use it. It's very easy and they learn very fast from crate training.

You can treat her to go in the bathroom. Put paper down in the bathroom, and take her there every time she starts to go. You got to be consistant.
