type into yahoo golden retrievers for sale in southern california and lots of different web sites will show up or you can go and adopt one from the humane society

Look at the AKC website, they have breed links that show rescue and registered breeders. You could also try doing a good search for golden retriever breeders and see what you find. DogBreedInfo.com has some links, they may be able to assist you as well.

Have you tried the local humane society? Check back with them weekly, especially a month or two after Christmas when a lot of people realize how much work puppies are and decide they don't want to keep them. Also, you might try http://www.bestfriends.org/. They have a lot of animals in need of good homes!

i agree with many of your answers, adopting is the best thing to do. go to a search engine (eg. google, ask.com) and type in Golden Retriever in Southern California up for adoption and you will get tons of info

At my vets office they have a news paper with lab rescue assoc. golden retriever assoc. rottty rescue etc Or look on line for golden retriever rescue.There are alot of places that save and house only certain breeds.

try going to the local humane society page. in michigan it's easily found by just typing in a search in a google search bar for "humane society michigan" and it produces thousands of links. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE A PET STORE OR BREEDER!!! There are thousands of puppies brought to local shelters and humane societies each day that are never adopted because people don't think to check these facilities!!! i hope you find the pup you're looking for but that you don't patronize a puppy mill and perpetuate the cruel and neglectful life these mill operators thrive on. blessed be!
