Ok, now that I've got that over with...

I just noticed the other day that my dog as a bluish cloud that has formed in the bottom of his eye. He has black eyes so it not really noticable unless the light catches it just right. It is under the pupil and in the iris part of his eye. I noticed a much smaller spot in the other eye. The whites of his eyes are pink too. I took him to the vet and she didn't give a diagnosis or treatment but said that the cloud is likely from white blood cells that have collected there from some reason. She didn't see any scratches. She said to take him to a pet opthamologist, which I will. Has this happened to anyone else's dog? Do you know what it could be? Could it be from and old scratch? Could allergies do this? He does sneeze a lot. I am so worried about him!

My miniature schnauzer's about 3 months old and I'm wondering which brand I should feed her. I feed her Puppy Chow at the moment, but I'm planning on switching.

I've been recommended Eagle Pack and Solid Gold. What do you guys think? Opinions and reasons please?

We live in the south so it's not as cold as everywhere else, in the 50's. She is 4 years old with no other problems. she's been both a outside and in side dog.
We have been keeping her inside since this has started. she has been shivering for @ 1 week subsides after we wrap her up. Diet is ok.
Is there somthing wrong or is it just the change in weather and her winter coat isn't in ?

I currently have an English Bulldog and would like to get him a buddy (preferably another bulldog). I regularly check the classifieds to see if any are available and have come across this situation 3 times.

I will respond to an add for bully they are selling. They email me back saying they feel really bad that they are unable to keep the puppy since they are in china on missionary work. They continue to say they got the puppies in the states and are fully vaccinated and have there AKC papers. They ask for all of my info (name, address, home phone and how I will pay them). Also, inform me where to wire them the money.

What's the deal??

I have a six month old Doberman, His ears were cropped at ten weeks, been taping since. His adult teeth have come in so I am seeing huge results lately, however I have not owned a dobe since I was a kid and do not know if the ears are supposed to stand at all times, or is it more of a relaxed down/ alert up thing? This will help me guage how far along I am.

Okay, so maybe the title sounds harsh lol. I was just wondering how much money these people make with show dogs? I am looking to buy an english bulldog and they are absolutely adorable but come with a very large price tag! lol I just wanted a pet...not an AKC champion

When we are at home watching animal planet, our dogs sometimes hear dogs on the TV, and think it is a real dog. They then start to bark and after a while it gets pretty annoying. Does your dog do anything funny???

She only does it if nobody is watching so she knows it's wrong. She mainly does her business in the garden but in the early hours of the morning she will go downstairs and poo in the living room. Even if I go down with her and open the back door for her she will wait till I have gone back to bed and do it sometimes...especially if it's raining! She also pees in the kid's bedrooms, again if nobody is in them, but she never does it in mine! (She sleeps in my room).
I am buying a house with my partner and moving in with him in a few weeks. I have to stop her or she will ruin our new house, and probably our relationship.
I have a 4 year old cavvy dog as well. He was toilet trained easily as a puppy and would never mess in the house.

I have had my rescue cross lurcher for about 6 weeks now. He is fantastic with the children and family but a little nervous with other adults. I do know he was mistreated as a pup. He is about a yr old. He loves to play with other dogs and is usually very good natured but if he is on the lead he is very aggressive to other dogs. Even the ones he plays with off lead. He is brilliant off lead and always comes back when called. He also growls at men who approach him but is ok if he approaches them first. Apart from this he follows me constantly around the house and seems a little submissive but does normally have a lovely nature.

My dog killed a squirrel, it was half dead he was sniffing it. The dog came in and I went outside later the squirrel was gone, I'm not sure if he ate it or buried it because my dog's nose was full of dirt. I have a golden retriever.
