an animal shelter or a breeder.(i recomend the shelter. They need a home more than bred dogs)and you can got to a vte clinic for the shots. For more info just ask your local animal shelter.
p.s. i would also recomend not to get pups on the web. They dont always tell the truth.and you cant always tell if they have good health or not by a couple of pics!good luck!

You should really research what pet would be the best for you. I researched my pet for a whole year and found the perfect pet fo me and my family, (Mini Schnauzer). Although it is nice to get a rescue dog not always can you know about the breed and if it's personality. With the shots, I take my dog to luvmypets.com and find a vet that is close ( they don't do it in all states) and get her shots there. They are sooooo much cheaper than the vet clinics and a licensed vet checks your dog and gives the meds. Good Luck!

I have the BEST answer. Go to this website to help you decide which breed is best for you... http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/search.htm
It's great! It asks you questions, you answer, then it tells you which type dog best fits your lifestyle.
Then check you local rescue for a that type dog. Try this great site to search for the kind of dog you want near you..... http://www.petfinder.com//index.html
You should try to get an adult dog, then you will know for sure that is will stay small and you won't have to deal with all the awful stuff that comes with puppies-teething, housebreaking, etc.
Once you decide on a breed check your local yellow pages for veterinarians, who can take care of shots etc.

I love Yorkies! They are a very Tiny breed and quite laid back. They get at largest about 4 or 5 lbs. You'll have to take the Puppy to the Vet for his or her shots.Go to a pet store and ask about small breeds.

you could go to an adoption center (you can get them cheep) and look for a small full grown dog, or just ask someone who works there which dogs will stay small. thats how I got my dog and she is still the same size as she was 10 months ago.

www.yorkiepup.com has some teeny puppies. Be careful with dogs that small though, they are known for health problems.
