I am wondering what breed of dog i should get. I don't have any problem with barking, but the one characteristic that i must have is that the dog must be small in size.
Any suggestions?

I took my dog to the vet friday morning after i found out wednesday he was pretty much blind all of a sudden. The vet was closed at night wednesday and thanksgiving so i had to wait almost 2 days. Anyways he seemed fine wednesday morning going to the bathroom etc. then i got up to be with him and noticed he wasnt using his eyes to get around but was leading with his nose/smell. Well his eyes were red and blood in them. His eyes were squinting/closing alot in the last few months but was told it was allergys, he has an auto immune disorder and also has dry skin, a bit of trobule walking (looks like sore bones), and the skin is thinning around his butt and he used to itch/scratch it but the vetagain said allergy's concerning the skin and he doesnt bother itching it anymore. Im basically wondering what could cause this hyphema and his now blindness, he had a bit of discharge/tearing from his eyes a while ago but again was told it was allergys. Please any options that cause this is help ty

I am concerned about EPI. He only eats every other meal and I feed him 1 1/2 cups twice a day?? Oh and he throws up/dry heeves every other morning? I do not feed him any table scraps either?Can anyone help me?

Please Please Please spay you female dog if you aren't going to breed her. I just had to put my girl down due to Pyometra. It's an infection of the uterus with or without a discharge. My girl never gave me a clue she was so sick. All she did was pant until it got on my nerves. She was overweight any way and I just thought she was gaining weight, little did I know she was filling up with infection. If you love you dog as I did mine, please get her fixed and avoid the heartache that I'm going through

i ask a min. ago about my pregnant dog (with the neighbors shitzu) and i forgot to mention that my dog is a pit. and as far as getting her spade, it is in our plan... but we kinda just inheirited this dog. (my sister in law couldn't have her anymore, so we took her).

I just recently heard of pinch collars, but they look mean. I have a pom a poo, so he is not very big (med size) however he pulls constantly and he pulls hard enough to jerk his neck. My arm hurts too but I am more concerned about his little neck.

people think pitts are real mean and bad to have i have 3 and theyre not harmful at all . people dont give these dogs chances they are very protecive but i dont see why people fight them or put them to sleep or kill them it makes no sense to me at all y do people have to be so mean to them.all they do is protect their love ones y does the world have to be so mean to these dogs

Whats the best way to keep them separated until the heat cycle is over. I bought a female dog diaper bit it seems like I am always having to wash it and it dosent seem fair to keep him locked up all the time while its drying. They are all inside dogs and I do crate him while I am away from home but while I am home he wants to be out as well. Any suggestions to make this a workable situation?

My other Sheltie puppy's nose is all black. Is just like a marking like those black spots they have on their tummies? They are very healthy. If I showed her, would the judge take points off?
