Shitpits, huh? You know you can have her spayed if it has been 3 weeks or less since she was bred..No extra cost..End of problems.

.The problem with such a mix as Sitpits, is that anyone who wants a Shih Tzu, isn't in the market for a pit bull, as they want a lap dog, and anyone wanting a pit bull, isn't wanting a shih tzu..so, it will be hard to find forever homes for them..ALL puppies are cute, but they lose that cuteness and end up in the pound.

You can call the vet and request an abortion and spaying in the same visit. This will prevent unwanted puppies and make for a happier dog. If you want to keep the pups, spay her after she weans but remember, you may not be able to get rid of all of the pups. Pit bull and shi tzu mix? Hmmm, how did the shi tzu tie her? Was she lying down? LOL That sounds like an odd breed. Pitshi*s? HAHA

You should have just added details to your last question instead of posting another.

Hope puppies were 'in your plan' because they're going to cost a helluva lot more than having her spayed would have.

Placing your Bullshitz puppies is going to be no small task either.

A female in heat should be secured inside your home (either in a crate or in a room. Males from blocks around are aroused by her hormones. I'd say the fault is 50/50 between you and your neighbor.

You can take her to the vet, tell him how pregnant she is and if in a certain time frame, they can spay her and you won't have puppies and no more heats. She will be fine if you decide, and the time is not too far advanced, to have her spayed. Good luck. I found a GSD several years ago and thought she had been spayed but she hadn't. My male got her and I had her spayed. She was carrying 8 pups. She was fine afterward.

I didnt see your original question but I will mention that YES it is possible to spay a pregnant dog.. it aborts the litter - which in the real world, is often preferable to creating mixed breed pups...
millions of dogs and pups are euthanized.. most are cross breds, as such getting her spayed saves dogs becuase allowing them to be born means fewer homes for other already born dogs

I have a shitzu mix and she's adorable. The mother was Full blooded shitzu (Tan) and the father a sneaky black chow mixed with who knows what. He was not cute. Everyone says my Maggie looks like a black 'benji' and she's a bit larger than most shitzu's (30 lbs) and she has black spots on her tongue. her litter mates where all tan like the mom but they had spots on their tongues too. She was the only black one. She has the best personality!

should be interesting. Good luck in finding homes. spay and neuter the puppies as soon as you can, preferably before placing them, it is possible to spay and neuter early but it may cost you and then spay mommy.

just spay her after!!
whatever you do though, dont bring the puupies to a shelter!!
find homes yourselves!!
shelters already have too many dogs and dogs are constantly put down.
