ok, my dog being pregnant isn't the worst of it..... i think she got knocked up by the little shitzu next door. has anyone ever seen a mix of these two breeds?? how ugly are these puppies going to be??

sorry... my dog is a pit bull. and she was in our fenced in back yard. (the shitzu somehow got under our fence)

If your dog is pregnant w/ a dog that you think won't be a good mix, don't worry about what they look like as long as they are in good health. Just think about it this way my dog got pregnant w/ a dog that we didn't think would mix, but she had 9 cute jack Russel,chiwawa, fiest mix!!!!!And they look fine.(ignore my spelling!!!)

Not spaying your dog results in pregnancies when they are allowed outside. Ugly puppies or not, they are now your responsibility. You could call the vet and ask for an aboriton if you're that worried about it but I would have her spayed while there as well to prevent future unwanted pregnancies. (You never said your dog's breed either)

Generally, though, the female's genes are often dominent in their puppies.

No matter how ugly they are, they are your responsibility. If you had spayed your dog you wouldn't have had this problem....
