He came to us five years ago as a stray, and we never really knew how old he was. He is black all over, and looks a lot like a cross breed Scotty. He's slightly longer though, and has a different shape head, plus his legs are shorter. The top half of his fur is dead strait and the bottom half is curly. Here is a picture of his face:

and here's a full body shot.

Any help would be appreciated - i know he isn't a full breed Scotty.

My I yr old pit bull just had her first litter on Nov 5, 06. She had eight total, all alive and healthy. Four days later one of the puppies had died, then another one the next day, and one more the same night, and the last one the day after that. She was very upset and kept getting up to look for them. Soon after we noticed that her teats in the back were very swollen, and she wasn't procing milk. So I tried giving her a long very warm (NOT burning hot) bath, then I tried to massage the swollen teats. She didn't really seam all that confortable but she let me do it any way. The milk that came out when I did that, had a very strong odor to it and was kind of thick and oily. We have since been bottle feeding the rest of the puppies and they got chubbier, but now she won't stay by them or try to clean them. What, if anything, can I do for her???

I have a 5 months old German Shepherd, have had him for about two months now. Here is the problem, he pees at the strangest times, when I talk to him, when I try to give him a treat, even when I am not even interacting with him. He is pretty much housebroken and lets me know normally when he wants to go outside to potty, I just don't know what to do to stop this, because its getting aggravating. Please Help!!

I have a small dog about 5 years old and recently she has had a loss of appetite, energy and weight. What could be wrong with her? This has been going on now for almost 10 days. I plan to make an appointment with the vet tomorrow but I would appreciate some insight as to what may be wrong now. Thank you!

My mother in law's beagle went into heat and her black lab couldn't get down far enough to reach her so she thought there was no problem. Till she went out and found the beagle standing in a lawn chair and the lab doing his thing! The puppies had to be delivered by C-section and were beautiful. Has this happened to anyone else?

What kind of dog bed could I get that my lab wouldn't chew up? My lab chews up every bed I give him that has stuffing in it, and I want him to have a comfy bed I can like nail down to his dog house floor of something. I know that may sound stupid to nail it down, but I have spent over $100.00 in dog beds tring to find one he won't chew up. Please give me some suggestions. Thanks!
