i have never herd of using olive oil. My vet told me to use pure vegtable oil. only a tsp a couple of times a week and you should gradually notice some improvement.

We owned dog grooming shops, and I never heard of olive oil for a dog....I have used a tablespoon of bacon grease twice a week for their coat, but I would call a vet and verify before using olive oil...Just my opinion.....good luck

i wouldnt put any more then a teaspoon, as it will also make your dog very loose with its stools(poo)
