I have a 5 months old German Shepherd, have had him for about two months now. Here is the problem, he pees at the strangest times, when I talk to him, when I try to give him a treat, even when I am not even interacting with him. He is pretty much housebroken and lets me know normally when he wants to go outside to potty, I just don't know what to do to stop this, because its getting aggravating. Please Help!!

earlier than you get all mad at her those are a few instructional materials of how one can coach her to head external a million. Every two hours take her external. within the morning and after consuming principally!!! two. The max. you will have to keep available in the market is an hour. Take her in which she wishes to smell and make certain you approve to in which she sniffs. three. Wait...wait...wait..after a whilst she is going to finally move. four. While she is peeing/pooing say a word of potty " move potty" or some thing that you simply might like to mention. Then while she is finished compliment the heck out her. five. And take her in. And if she appears on the door or is across the door. That signifies that she has to head. Hope that helped , that how i confirmed my puppy sofi. IN A DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Have you spoken to your vet about this? The dog may have a bladder infection or other medical problem. Or maybe because he's still just a puppy he hasn't developed complete control of his bladder yet.
How much attention is he getting? He may just be so happy to be acknowledged that he can't help himself. Keep working on the housebreaking training with him. Like people dogs learn at different speeds. He may just need a little reinforcement of his training. LL

Mine did the same thing, she grew out of it, but it was a pain to deal with at 1st. She still gets upset and pees when she is in trouble. Good luck and try to keep your tone even. Not to loud or to sharp or excited. Even when you are praising.

He may have a urinary tract infection and needs to see a vet. I would initially have said that he was doing it when he was excited but if he is doing it with no interaction from you or anything else then he could have a problem. I'd take him to see a vet to be sure he is okay.

his peeing is a show of submission to you saying that you are the boss and that he know that. I can be aggrivating but there isn't much to do to correct it other than giving your dog more authority in the house......
