Well, I have the same problem with my older dog that we are currently trying to deal with. We haven't found a resolution yet, but since your dog is younger, I'm sure you'll have better luck. According to our vet and all the internet research I've done, it could be a number of things. There could be dental problems causing the dog to be in pain and not want to eat. It could be pancreatitis, kidney disease, diabetes, or cancer. Your vet will want to do a complete blood panel as well as possibly some internal films. Before you go to the vet, here are some things to consider: Is she going to the bathroom regularly (both urinating and pooping)? Has this behavior changed recently? Has she been vomitting or had diarrhea? Is she running a fever? (Her rectal temperature should be between 101 and 102 degrees F.) Does she act like she is in pain? Is it possible that she got into something toxic? Did her food change? Does she have any other symptoms (like a foul odor)? Your vet might ask you to bring in a fecal sample (to check for worms) and a urine sample, so be prepared to collect those before your visit (do you don't have to go back again). Good luck!

If your pet isn't up to date on deworming,I would suggest worming her.All pets kept outside should be wormed every 4 months,if an inside dog about every 5 months.A good safe wormer is PANACUR,but must be repeated 3 days in a row.

Don't wait til tomorrow to make the appointment - call right away. This could be minor, but it could be very serious and it doesn't sound like its going away on its own. You should have called before now.

She could have parasites, a tummy problem or heart worms. Get her checked today. She could easily dehydrate from not eating or drinking.
